The wood grain patterns were beautiful and had a variation in color. The wood was neatly packaged with wax to prevent cracking.

Cocobolo is an excellent wood for lathe work. I'll order more from Rockler as I need it. The color is just great. It's a little oily and clogs your cutting tools but the results are worth the small inconvience.

The wood was not waxed, was a little dry, and was not the best color that I've seen, but not bad for the price.

The wood arrived fast, it was surface planed on all 4 sides and fully waxed. It was dense with a uniform grain. The wood is magnificant; I make bagpipes and this stuff turns beautifully. The price is very low for such great wood. I immediately bought them out of some Rosewood squares. Just a final note: if you turn cocobolo, wear a mask and long sleeves/pants. The wood can cause contact dermatitis in allergic individuals (rash like poison ivy.)

"Have been a return customer for a number of years, and a recent experience has really cemented that bond for me. After using my Rockler lighted magnifying lens for a few months, one of the wires from the battery pack came loose. When I contacted Customer Service to inquire about sending the unit back, they instead sent me a brand new one - no questions asked, no return expected, no charge whatsoever. This simple step - coupled with top quality, innovative products - ensured my repeat business more than any other advertising technique or gimmick could ever do. Keep up the good work, Rockler!"
