Here is the perfect accessory kit for our extra-tall Deluxe
Router Fence (30136) — featuring a matching 3" tall
featherboard to keep stock flat against the fence. Makes
quick, safe work of raising panels vertically, routing large
moldings and routing wide boards on edge. The included
Deluxe Dust Port also matches the height of the Deluxe fence
and features a flat interface that is compatible with most
incremental fence adjustment systems. Two fence
featherboards round out the package for keeping stock flat
to the table during normal routing operations. All
components also work with our standard router table fence.
Includes:
Double Featherboard Kit:
- Features two easy-to-grip locking knobs that safely
position featherboard anywhere along the miter track.
- Unique, expandable miter track clamps provide
maximum holding power.
- Can be used with table saws, router tables, drill
presses — any tool with a standard 3/8" x 3/4" miter slot.
- Can also be used as a standard height table
featherboard.
Deluxe Dust Port:
- Extra-tall height makes it perfect for use with the
Deluxe Router Fence (30136).
- Can be used with the Incra Jig (25971) and other
incremental adjustment systems — just drill into the flat
surface to connect your jig.
- 2-1/2" O.D. / 2-1/8" I.D. dust port.
- Slips onto Rockler deluxe router fence with just
two knobs.

Bought one of these on a ridiculous sale in the Beaverton, OR store. I am in the process of building a custom router table in the extension of my table saw. I went in with the intention of buying a couple retrofit fence faces to do a custom fence, but with the clearance price of the fence {21538} and these I ended up getting those instead. Great value!

I bought a few pair of these since I couldn't beat the sale price at the time. They are made from a very strong synthetic plastic with the fingers being flexible enough to hold wood and let it slide past. stacking two of these feather boards works well when I am re-sawing on table saw or bandsaw. They work great and I recommend them for anyone's shop!

I have a shop-built router table that I was easily able to modify to accept the featherboard set. I did have to modify the dust collector, but that was a simple task. I do recommend that anyone running thin strips of wood, reverse the direction of feed. I first ran 1/8" long strips of red oak. The direction of rotaion will pull the wood into the bit uncontrolably.
So I suggest reversing the featherboards. Mount the ones on the fence as close to the cutter as possible for a much better and certainly safer results. After these minor changes, I have gotten great results with the Router Accessory Kit and I think it is a great product. The direction of feed that you choose for a router table versus a hand held router can be a matter of safety, not just quality of finish. Thanks Rockler for another very fine product!

I bought this set in hopes of being able to use it on my table saw, router table, and shaper. A couple of the pieces included dust collector shroud and over-bit shield are next to worthless, but they came with the set. The fingerboard appears not intended to be reversible, but it has to be inverted to be used on the table saw. Some of the wood chips thrown by my table saw blade actually damaged three of the fingers on the fingerboard to the point that I wanted to replace it. But the cost of just the fingerboard alone is really steep. Better to buy the Bench Dog "FeatherLoc" fingerboard, which is reversible and has a wider range of adjustability.

Purchased this kit specifically to make window and trim moldings. The kit worked perfectly to both increase the safety of working relatively close large cutters and keep the wood in perfect alignment. Running long pieces of wood has the potential to miss-feed by rising or as the wood thins, kicking out or in. With this set up each piece was fully usable for the whole finished lenght.

These accessories completed my goal to make the router table the safest and most accurate I could find. Combined with the Rockler table fence I couldn't have found a more perfect solution to my needs. Quick setup and solid performance.

I just used the feather boards to help router out some 5.5" crown molding. It seemed to work out great with the deluxe fence that I'm also very happy with.

I found the quality of the components excellent, however, it would have been very helpful for some written directions for the proper installation and use of the components.

The feather board are good, no issues with them. The dust collection port does not come close to fitting my Rockler router table. I think its designed for the large/tall fence, not the standard one that came with my table. A bit of a mismatch there as the description for the package (as of the time of my order) that the port fits all Rockler router tables. It does not.

Unfortunately the miter bars are about 1/8 inch larger than the miter slots on my Craftsman table saw, so I could not use it in any way. I suggest that they sell different size bars as accessory or include them. Not sure if Craftsmans have history of using non standard dimensional parts. Also two extra short srews were included but not mentioned in the instructions, I think they would be for securing the feather board into the miter track.

I found many pieces of the Router Accesory Kit to be useful, but there were two problems. I'm not sure if this was due to packaging, or outdated product. The dust collector port would not fit the new router table fence (T-Track prevented it from being attached), and the longer T-Bolts were not included for using the double high feather board set up. My local Rockler store has offered to exchange the dust collector port.
