Starrett 12'' Combination Square, with Square Head

Laroy Starrett invented the combination square in 1877 and it has become a basic tool for every craftsman and builder.  The C11H series has a cast iron head with a handy spirit level and a hardened scriber.  The blade is machine divided, hardened and tempered with a reversible lock bolt that allows the blade to be turned over or end-for-end without removing the lock bolt or nut.  This assures true alignment of the blade and head.

1) Submitted by Tim Weis, from Athens, TN on 11/22/2010 Customer Rating: Having owned a dozen "cheaper" combination squares, I am amazed at the accuracy of the markings, the accuracy of the 45 and 90 degeee angles and the ease of taking the rule out and putting it back in the base. I could never return to the "cheaper" squares.
