It is clearly marked down to 1/16, rubber coated so it won't mar the workpiece or slip in my hand. It even has a pencil sharpener. I love it.

I use the dual scales a lot, I like the little note pad (if you get a stubborn mark on it, fine sandpaper will clean it up) and the pencil sharpener can be handy as well. I'm going to get a couple more, because just one is easy to lose.
