2) Submitted by Christopher Herzberg, from Minneapolis, MN on 1/12/2010 Customer Rating: Great inexpensive alternative to full size downdraft table. Works great with my 1 1/2 hp dust collector. I found a very useful hint on another website. Cut 1 or 2 3/4" pieces of MDF to the same dimensions as the Rockler panels. When sanding smaller items, replace Rockler panels with MDF panels and it will improve suction.

4) Submitted by Al Cheeks, from Olympia Fields, IL on 9/8/2009 Customer Rating: I built the case as per the downloadable plans and would suggest these modificationd; panels B and C increase 1/2 in cut 1/4 x 1/2 rabbits in panels A Rabbets provide more gluing surface than butt joint, and screws in the end grain of MDF probably would not hole long. Also, add handles to sides A for added portability.

5) Submitted by Clinton Gaylord, from Tucson, AZ on 9/5/2009 Customer Rating: Maybe my shop vac isn't powerful enough, but I am disappointed in the results it obtains. There is a lot of debris left on the table as I sand. It gets some of the dust, but no where near the 90% claimed in my opinion.

7) Submitted by Chet Daniel, from Stewartville, MN on 5/28/2009 Customer Rating: I have used this plan and product several times with good results. For sanding smaller hand held pieces I place a cardboard the size of a panel over each of the two outside panels which increases the air flow draw.
