These work great. I am using them on a Grizzly jointer, and a Dewalt planer. Since I don't have an elaborate dust collection setup, it allows me to go back and forth quickly.

This is a very good product since not all tool companies are standardizing their dust port sizes. I'd also mention that if your using the fairly heavy expandable dust hose you're going to have support the dust port with an extra clamp where the rubber meets the plastic otherwise the force of the suction will rip the dust port right off or place a wooden support underneath the unit. It's all in the angle of your dust port on the machine.

The Dust Right System is amazing! I love the ability to switch between tools, and even clean my shop with the different tools and accesories offered. The expandable hose allows me to reach every tool in my shop without running dedicated ducting all over my shop! Just slip the handle right on the port you have attatched to your machine, and your ready to go!

Product works as advertised. I now flawlessly move the dust right handle from a Jet to a Delta to Grizzly machine and now their dust ports are universal and fit snug. The included hose clamps are easy to operate and quick to install. A very good product and inexpensive as well.

Like many I have a small shop so dust collection is moved from machine to machine. I grew tired of trying to slide the flex hose over the 4" plastic ports at times it's very frustrating. I switched to these and the dust right handle and now it's quick and easy. Highly recommended.

The greatest thing around! No matter who you purchase machines from the dust port is not a standard 4", even from the same manufacturer. These dust ports fixes that problem and makes life easier. Rockler is the "Go To" company for your dust collection system.

I have a small shop and space is limited. By using several of these ports I can quickly change from one operation to another without having to run dedicated dust collection lines to my equipment.

Well designed. Sturdy enough that it won't break the 2nd or 3rd time that it is used. Great adaptor for making the rest of the dust collection system universal in application. I will get another set int he near future to adapt more of the equipment in my shop to the easiest system to use.

I have a Delta dust collector and have never found any fitting that would go over the plastic wye 4" openings, finally something that makes it easy. Have ordered more of these plus the dust right handles to make hookups easy. As one reviewer said no more duct tape etc.. Great dust collection items from Rockler.

I just started using the Dust Right system and find it great and easy to use. I have put fittings on my bandsaw, dust collector, planer, and use the tabletop dust fitting and the bench nozzle. Plan to have the dust ports on all my tools very soon. Great product Rockler.

The new Dust Right system is far better than the old one in which things often did not fit together, and esasily fell apart in use. I just hope replacement rubber parts will be available in a few years when the original rubber gets brittle and cracks.

Along with the rest of the Dust Right family of products, this little gem is well worth the price of admission. Unfortunately, there is just no such thing as a "standard four inch port". My band saw's cast iron port is too big for most fittings, my table saw's plasic port is too small...and on and on it goes. The rubber end of this port easily adapts to any tool port, and the dust right handle engages and disengages effortlessly. Well done, Rockler.

The Dust Right 4" tool port allows for easy change over from my sander, router and planer, as needed. When I first attached it to the planer, I found that there was a gap in spacing so I wrapped duct tape around the planer port, creating enough shim space to allow for a tight enough fitting. There is adequate suction and no dust leakage on this tool. The handle on the Dust Right tool port makes it easy to pull it from one tool port attachment to another.

I would have given a full 5 stars except if you leave the hose attached to a machine after a couple of days the port comes loose from the rubber boot, and you find your hose laying on the floor. Otherwise it's a great setup. I have these on 7 or 8 machines. I decided not to run ductwork and blastgates when I moved my shop. These really work great, as long as you remember to unhook them before you leave for the night.

Just started using and works great when moving the dust collector from tool to tool. My only concern is occasionally if the Dust Right Handle connects a little tight it can pull the adapter off of the rubber boot. My shop is in the garage and it may be the extreme heat lately that is keeping the rubber soft. Either way I couldn't live without these now that I have them.

This works very well, but its a shame that they did't just make Dust Right handle to fit a standard 4" port.
Editor's note: We have to consider tool ports on woodworking machines. As much as we'd like them to be, the fact is they are NOT standard in size. There are slight variations in size from manufacturer to manufacturer and tool to tool. Note that our Dust Right Tool Ports are not an all plastic mold. They are designed specifically with a rubber boot as an integral part of them, which gives the flex needed to fit the variations of port sizing manufacturers produce. By offering the Dust Right Tool Ports we are supplying a way to bring the non-uniform sizing of machine ports to a uniform size so that one can easily switch from machine to machine by using the Dust Right Handle.
