Expand your table saw's versatility by adding this industrial grade router table in place of the extension wing. Perfect for shops where space is tight, ProMAX includes a cast-iron top, Bench Dog's 28" ProFence, a miter gauge track that adjusts for a no-slop fit, and a solid aluminum insert plate that is pre-drilled to fit your specific router. If workspace is an issue, the ProMAX has you covered. Its dual fence slot configuration lets you rotate the fence and work from either side of the table to maximize surface area. Plus, with a third miter slot at its disposal, your table saw becomes perfectly equipped to handle crosscut sleds.

Select a package that includes a plate pre-drilled to mount your router, which should fall into one of the four groups listed below.

Group A Routers:
Makita 1100; Milwaukee 5615-5624; DeWalt 616-618; Bosch 1617- 1618; Rigid 2930 Combo Kit; Porter Cable 690, 890, 7529, 97529, 8529; Hitachi M12VC (Fixed & Kit).

Group B Routers:
DeWalt DW621, DW621k; Crafstman Standard; Freud FT1700E. 1702VCEK

Group C Routers:
Porter-Cable 7518,7519, 7538, & 7539; Milwaukee 5625-20; Triton TRA001 and MOF001

I installed this on my SawStop Contractor saw with jobsite cart. I already had the SawStop cast iron table extensions. The depth of the Bench Dog matches the SawStop table exactly.
The holes in the Bench Dog align close enough with the SawStop that I didn't need to drill or file. I needed to drill additional holes in the front and rear of the Bench Dog to bolt the saw fence and rear fence guide. It took some additional time but was not a problem.

I left the SawStop extensions in place and added the Bench Dog to the right extension. Removing the left extension to mount the Bench Dog would required me to figure out how to remount the saw switch. Removing the right extension might have worked, but the clearances with the saw angle wheel were a bit close. The job site cart extends to the right of the saw, so mounting the router table to the right doesn't require additional floor space. The router table + lift + router is rather heavy and needs additional support to keep from sagging. I used gas springs bolted to the jobsite cart to add ~70lbs of upward force.

The leveling screws + plate lockdown made it easy to get the router plate exactly flush with the table top. The router fence is much better than anything I've used.

So far, I'm happy with the setup: I have a huge, flat workspace for the saw and a nice router table that is portable and does not take up more floor space than the saw/stand alone. It is nice to be able to move both out of the "shop" =garage in good weather. Avoids dust indoors and it's a lot more pleasant to work outside.

This table lives up to the great reviews you'll find here. It has great finish, plenty of mounting hardware, the Rockler router lift fits the table opening perfectly, etc. However, I would point out two areas that you might want to consider before you purchase: 1 The mounting holes that are present do not line up with the older Craftsman 113.27520 10" saw table holes, and considerable elongation of the Bench Dog holes is required to bolt it up. I used a rat-tail file and a pot of coffee, and it took about 45 minutes. 2 Bench Dog did not put in mounting holes for a dust collector under the table. I bought a Rockler Dust Bucket, and I had to drill and tap holes in the cast frame web under the table opening to attach a plywood pad for mounting the Dust Bucket, which took another 45 minutes of carefully-aligned drilling and tapping. Neither of these issues takes away from the quality of the product, but I think prospective buyers might want to be advised about them before deciding to purchase. The fence is excellent.

I agree with all positive feedback for this great addition to a small or large shop. Space is an absolute premium in my garage shop. My roll around setup causes me to move each piece of equipment to the center for use. This space saver also added a great deal of functionality to my table saw by adding an extra miter slot. My original table saw wings were stamped steel, and this was an improvement all by itself. Installation was easy, and took me only a couple of hours to get it on, and my table saw fence back into adjustment. I did not purchase a router lift, as funding ran out on this expenditure. Although, it is certainly on my wish list.
If I ever update my Jet contractors saw, I will put this router setup on anything I purchase, including a cabinet saw.
The cast iron top, and rigid fence setup has greatly increased my accuracy in my projects. I hate sanding, and this has significantly reduced my work in this regard. I definitely recommend purchasing a remote switch, as this adds to both convenience and safety.

I mounted this on my saw and what's great is that I was able to remove my existing cast iron left end section and install it on the right side of the saw, and then installed this cast iron router table to the left side. This gave me a very large full cast iron work surface for my table saw, and saved me a lot of space in my garage . I also purchased the very nice Bench Dog nickel plated router plate and the bullet proof Bench Dog pro router lift along with that very powerful Porter Cable router. I think this stuff will last me forever, since I'm not a professional and don't use this set up daily (or even monthly-sadly, woodworking seems to be a retired persons hobby-not enough time avaliable). I did manage to mount this pretty heavy extension by myself, but I had to use the excellent Rockler heavy duty support stand to hold it in place while I leveled it and bolted it up. I needed to use little pieces of tape between the main table and the extension along with a reference straight edge to get the extension to be absolutely flat. I also remember having to enlarge at least one of the holes to get the table to align with existing holes. Not too big of a deal, but perhaps slots would have been a better idea. Yes, this set up is very pricey, but It's very accurate, and I won't need to upgrade this system ever. I'm a big believer in purchasing the best that you can afford so that you don't have to buy it again later.

I installed this on my 25 year old Delta contractor saw without assistance in about an hour. Everything lined up perfectly, all necessary hardware for a variety of applications was included. I ordered this with the basic plate, but later decided to go ahead and spring for the pro-lift, glad I did, that's another amazing piece of equipment.

I have just finished installing this table to my Delta contractor saw. I have a small shop and was looking for a setup that would give me the table space, but not take up any more floor space. The fit and finish of this product is second to none. The installation was simple, although I had to buy some hardware, being that I added the router table to the already existing cast Iron wing on the right side of the saw. The router plat has eight leveling screws, and being that you can reverse the fence to make use of the entire table saw's table is just an added benefit.

I was able to install this on my old Sears Contractor saw in about an hour with no assistance. Fit and finish are excellent. I have a small shop and also need to move the saw to rehab sites; it's a perfect addition. Most of my router usage is to reproduce old moldings and create one of a kind trim for older houses. It is great to have the router table mounted and on-site with me. The saw is a bit heavier but still manageable. Definitely a good investment.

Installed this on my Craftsman hybrid saw with only a few minor problems. Hardware included did not match description and I had to substitute some of my own which was not a problem for me. Instructions could be a little more detailed. Nothing provided on leveling the router plate with setscrews. It didn't take me long to figure out that the extra nuts iin the bag were to lock the leveling setscrews (thier function is not identified in the instructions) but a statement to that effect in the instructions would be nice. Biggest problem that I had was installing the safety type on off switch for the router so that I can bump it off with my leg. A couple of additional holes would be welcome as drilling the webs up underneath the top is awkward. Table surface is flat, and it looks great. I am looking forward to using it and nitpicking aside, I would recommend the product.

I am pretty certain there isn't a product that matches this table saw router table extension. It is exactly what I needed. I have a Delta contractor saw and choose to mount this on the right to the existing cast iron extension. This is not the most common use, but it is addressed in the manual. You need to support the extension with legs (I build a router table underneath the unit to support it) and screw the table to the fence rails for extra support since it is hanging out there a bit. I was a little surprised all four mounting holes did not line up, BUT I think the issue is more with my saw and it's previous owner (lord knows what he did when he put the saw together - I curse him often). Still, I had to drill a few little holes in this brand new thing fopr the fence rail bolts and that made me nervous since I would definately have issues with a return, but who can possibly return a beast like this by mail any way!
As for quality, it is very very nice. Flat and solid. Rock solid. The plate is fine and I am now off to the races using my router table any time I need it and with a nice shop set up.

This is a high quality, substantial product that is very satisfying to own and use. I combined the extension with an FX lift and a Dewalt 618 and will add a separate remote switch. It attached quickly to my ancient JC Penny 10" tablesaw without any modification. I have the saw/router combo on a rolling base and it was necessary to clamp the old extension (which the table replaces)to the opposite side of the stand as a counter weight to prevent tipping as the balance is somewhat precarious with the weight of table, router and lift on the wing. I recently used it for cutting birdsmouths in a large number of 9'staves used to build hollow boat masts and it was a joy to use. Highly recommended product.

I, too, have an old Craftsman 113.27520 with a single extension mounted on the right that I had been looking for another extension for the left. I stumbled on the Bench Dog, looked at the specifications to verify that it would mount, and bought it. I was able to install it without any modifications and easily flush it with the the top of the table saw. I have a Milwaukee 5616 that I bought the corresponding plate Group A for but beyond mounting, none of the holes for accessing the router lift match up. I can easily access the knob from the underside so at the moment I'm not planning on modifying the plate.

There are two areas where I would rate this product as poor: 1 The table is not flat. It has a slight dip towards the middle of the table by about 1/32 inch. 2 The MDF fence boards are terrible. MDF is like paper, and they have a lot of friction to them. That's not good since your running your stock along the length of them. Mine were not even flat. I had to sand them to make them work. I will be making my own fence boards out of hard maple. Otherwise it is a functional router table, turning your router into an inexpensive shaper!

When making your purchasing decision, consider the following. The side holes in fact will not align with your saw's holes, unless you are lucky. They do not align with either side of a Delta contractor saw. Of all the fasteners included, only 3 match this item. Amazingly, all other fasteners are too large. You will be drilling, possibly tapping and definitely supplying fasteners that clearly should be included. The instructions are so poorly written and incomplete, that you must possess an above average ability in visualization and fabrication. Messages left at Bench Dog still not returned, that is both surprising and disappointing. For the money this item should have the required fasteners, complete and discernable instructions and should bolt right up to a variety of popular saws - especially the brand shown in all the photos! I would rate this item 'very good' if it were priced $100 less, as is. I would rate this item 'excellent' if it had clear/complete instructions, proper fasteners and was engineered to fit Delta, as well as other popular saws. So far I've run over 200' of stock, and have experienced no problems. Bosch makes an ingenious/inexpensive router base RA1165 that can be left on this table - if you have a Bosch router - this is a great way to go. If your saw cannot handle the extra weight, if you don't need this item to be cast, consider the wood/composite alternatives Rockler offers.

I added this to my Jet JPS-10 ProShop table saw about a year ago. I have a small shop, so integrating a router table with the table saw saves a lot of space. It was easy to install. Fit & Finish are A+. I now use my router about twice as much as I used to because it's so handy and the cast iron table is rock solid. I would rate this table as one of the best investments I've made in my shop.
