This bi-focal feature adds to a great all-around safety glasses design, including:
- Shatter-proof wrap-around lenses
- Anti-fog coating
- Adjustable bands
Available in +1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 magnification. If your required bi-focal strength is unknown, visit a pharmacy and test out several reading glasses.

Very light, comfortable, and easy to forget you have them on! No more switching between safety glasses and readers to make measurements while woodworking. A great value.

Light, non-slip, great for the price! I'm a retired carpenter and my "eye sight is retiring as well". I bought a second pair after trying one pair first. Very satisfied!

Their comfortable, and I don't have to keep changing from no glasses to close up. In fact, their more comfortable than my $200.00 bifocals.

Once I get used to them I forget I even have them on. Like tonight, after working in the shop a couple of hours I came into the house to check email. Yep, I'm still wearing them. Very comfortable.

I wear contact lenses for distance so close work, like reading a scale or setting the bit height on my router table, required me to change from safety glasses to reading glasses. When I found these Bifocal they were cheap enough to try. I'm very glad I did. the first time I wore them on it took about 15 minutes to get used to them since I've never worn bifocals before. I'm mostly a weekend woodworker so each time I put them on it takes a few minutes for my eyes to adjust but that's it. I can wear them for hours with no problem. Everyone's eyes are different so I guess they'll work better for some people than others but they work great for me. I'm thinking about buying another pair at a slightly higher level of magnification for when I work with my scroll saw.

They do the job, are comfortable, seem well made and optically seem to be fine. My only quibbles are that a for some reason when I am working with tools such as air nailers which throw off little bits and pieces of wood that these bits can bounce off my cheek and go behind the glasses and get into my eyes. This is not as bad as a direct hit, obviously, but still not good. Also, b as others have mentioned the bifocal lens seems to be set just a bit too low.

I bought a pair of tinted at the store and every one I showed them to loved them. They went on sale and I bought 2 more pair of clear. They are great on the job or in the shop.

I haven't actually used the glasses at my saw yet, but they seem to fit nicely and the wraparound seems to provide very good protection. I would prefer that the magnifier portion was a little larger as I have to raise the glasses a bit off the bridge of my nose to read the tape measure. Overall, I think these glasses are going to be a big help in the shop and at a very good price.

I bought 2 pairs, free shipping gets me all the time... I couldn't get the 1.5 I wanted at my local hardware store there were out. Love them I am able to read again. The bifocal are comfortable and the price is right. Looking forward to wear them at work where the parts I have to identify are hard to read I use a 10 times manifier at times. What a relief it would be when my woodworking shop will be back up again.

Just what I needed. These work great. In the past I've worn drug store cheap reading glasses for close-up cabinet work. These glasses may be a bit off on the magnification scale. I think the 2X safety glasses are closer to 1.5X. So buy one step up if you aren't sure.

Believe these are a great product idea. They just need some design tweaking to make them excellent. My main issue is that after 2 years or so, the hinge area breaks - while the rest of the product remains fine. The weakest link in this product is in the clear PC lens area of the hinge. If it was made perhaps 50% wider in this area, it may last a lot longer. The black plastic temple remains strong in the hinge area. I hardly ever fold these lenses. The plastic in the hinge area becomes weak from the normal mechanical stress that keeps them on your head.

Nice saftey glasses, but the whole point of purchasing these is the bifocal lense. Anyone that uses these would have to agree that the bi lense is too low.

I've been a bit negligent in wearing my older safety goggles mainly because they are older plastic and not so clear. However since getting these Bifocal FastCap safety glasses I wear them almost all the time or have them on the bill of my cap. They are clear and the bifocal works just fine. I purchased two of these and put one by my "other" workbench. They're great and priced right.

Sooner or later, you will need some help with reading or viewing finer print. Recently I started to require a set of reading glasses.
These safety glasses REALLY did the trick. In the past I avoided safety glasses over my prescription glasses, then I went through Lasix surgery which corrected my vision however I still required reading glasses not due to an error, but simply of age.
I purchased one of these only to find out how comfortable they are to wear specially without prescription glasses in addition to their clarity and of course I can now easily read my markings, rulers, joints as well as everything else I was having difficulty viewing.
A positive note is that they are so comfortable I use a neck strap that I use them all the time.
I am very happy with these glasses, I have purchased a couple of extras for my military use as well as my other needs outside of the woodshop.
BOHICA!!

I wish I had ordered some of these a long time ago. They're great! I've used all three pairs and they give me great protection. I use the 1.5 when I use my table saw or shaper and the 3.0 when I'm doing close up work, such as carving. It's a great product.

I do a lot of woodworking and my eyes are not what they used to be. I bought the 3.oo. They are wonderful. The plans and setup are clear and the glasses keep those nasty bits of sawdust from the eyes. Thank you!

I normally wear contact lenses and have to wear a pair of readers to see close up. On my off days, I refuse to wear my contacts and I give my eyes a break. With the 2.5 lenses, I can work on my woodworking projects and see everything I need to see. These are really great glasses; not to mention that they're full wrap around and work well for safety.

Great glasses, fit well and are comfortable. Only problem is the magnifying lenses are so low down, that you have to raise your head up to far to use them.

Good glasses, but the bifocal is just to low. If it was just a 1/2 of an inch higher it would be perfect. Love the product but if they could raise the bifocal just a little i would rate it a 5.

I purchased a couple of pairs, different magnifications, and whilst they are a big improvement over constantly swapping glasses, I also found the bi-focal regions to be a little small and set too low causing some rather odd head angles to read or set angles and dimensions.

Nice construction and nice price, but one caveat for folks like me who've had cataract surgery...in some cases, like mine, the lenses inserted during the operations are deliberately tuned to tilt the focus of one eye for nearer vision and the other for more distant vision. When that happens, all's well in "normal life," but bifocals don't know that each eye really needs a different correction factor to make "everything come into focus just right"...yes, it's a somewhat unique situation, but if you're in this group, these glasses will not help very much unless you're willing and able to close one eye for close-up work. I found that brighter lighting works pretty well as an alternative.

Great, lightweight, bifocal eye protection. One big problem though: I can't wear a dust mask without the glasses fogging up. The directions with glasses said not to clean them with any cleaning agents because it would remove the antifog coating. They fogged up the first time I wore them with a dust mask which is most of the time. Any suggestions?

Fastcaps Bi focal line is low compared to a 3m pair that I am replacing and that is a good thing! In construction getting up and down ladders, stairs, looking at the ground, the 3m pair with its higher bi focal line gives you an out of focus view when tilting your head down which always takes getting used to everytime you put them on. With the Fastcap pairs lower bi focal line, they are very easy to work with getting around and when it comes time to read a print etc., a slight tilt of the head and it's there in focus.
The 3m pair is now strictly for the shop and the Fastcap pair is for everywhere else.

The lens area is too low in the field of view for machine work as I must tip my head back to see through the lens. Work fine for reading, which tends to be lower, but not when you need correction at mid-level.

These clear lenses work very well, and the magnifier really helps with fine print or reading the markings on a steel rule. Only problem I had is that the top line of the bifocal doesn't line up perfectly across the two lenses, but that just takes a little getting used to.
