Greatest thing since the two pocket shirt! I've been using this brush since they were first introduced. Works as advertised and has held up very well. Occasionally use an acid brush for very tight spots, but also have to pick out the bristles when I do. If you're using water soluble glue just wash it out and blot it dry between glue-ups, no need to wait untill it's dry to remove it. A smaller version would be nice for some projects.

The brush works as advertised though I'll share a little tip. When you read the description you think that this will be the last brush you need so no need to buy more than one. Well the glue just pops off, but the glue has got to dry first and that might take a couple of days, so you probably do need to get two or three of them so you're not stuck without one while waiting for the old glue to be easy to remove.

I was a little bit skeptical but bought this as an impulse buy It was sitting next to the register. I figured it would work for glue but I decided to use it for 2 part epoxy. I figured that if it didn’t work I was only out $3.99. We I was very happily suppressed in that the dried epoxy came right off. I was so impressed that this is the first time I have every reviewed a product.

I have been using these glue brushes a few months now, and they are absolutely great! Just yesterday I realized I hadn't cleaned one of them after using it a few weeks ago. The honeycomb-like glob of dried glue came off with a minimal effort leaving the silicone bristles clean and intact- a bargain.

I really like this brush but do wish it came in a smaller size. It is too large in many cases and I have to go back to my smaller acid brushes.

I'll pile on...bought 3 of these on sale. Best damn brush out there bar none! Glue spreading is easy...you can set it down without leaving a glue mess. Of course, the best part as most have alluded to is the easy clean up. You can let the glue dry and peel it out or even better, when using the PVAs (white/yellow glue), simply toss it in a cup of water and when you remember, swish it around good and it'll come out clean as a whistle. You don't even need to run the faucet to clean it out. In fact, I have a cup of water sitting in the garage sink almost permanently that I've been tossing these brushes into. I only fill it up a bit as the water evaporates. THESE BRUSHES SAVE ON WATER FOR CLEAN UP...THEY'RE GREAT FOR THE PLANET!

Simply amazing! Not only does it give you superior glue control, it allows you to use less glue! By beginning with the thinnest ribbon of glue, you end up with the brush bristles full of glue and laying down with excellent coverage. The only thing you will find unusual, is getting used to how much less glue you need.

I must say when I had them throw this in on ine of my orders, I was skeptical to say the least. To my surprise it works GREAT!!! I was speechless. lol, It was hard not trying to clean it right away, but like it says let it dry and a little rubbing between ur fingers and the glue works loose in a big chunk.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I can't belive a simple product such as this can make such an impression on a guy like me. I have been working with wood for over 30 years and I must say that this glue brush has impressed me about as much as anything I have purchased over the years. What a SIMPLE DESIGN and GREAT PRODUCT! Mission furniture, being my most common build, I have a lot of 1X laminating to do,, I have been eyeing the glue brush and picked one up before laminating a door for a project. Let's just say, the old flux brushes hit the trash as soon as I used it !!! Great little product !

I bought three of these recently and I'm very happy I did. No more hair from brushes in my glue areas, plus I can reuse the brush again and again. I wasn't sure this brush was going to do everything it advertised but it does. I also found that if I just soak the brush in water overnight, there isn't any clean up necessary, just get rid of the excess water and start gluing up again.

The brush works very nicely. It sure beats any other form of spreading glue. It spreads glue very evenly. For tight corners I use some other method, like a thin stick. I am very pleased with the way it cleans up also. Having at least two brushes is best.

Don't buy one. It won't be enough-get at least two so you will have one handy when you misplace one in the shop. Everyone talks about easy cleanup after use-true. Many also mention that there will be no more cleaning of acid brush hairs from the glue surface-also true. But a major benefit, seldom mentioned, is that the amount of glue remaining after just one pass of the angled silicone bristles is just right. That is a big time saver during assembly. At first,I thought the silicone brush idea was just a gimmick. Great gimmick!

I love this brush. The guys working for me love it because they don't have to wash it out at the end of the day. The newest guy thought we were lying to him when we told him to just leave it on the table and we would clean it the next day. Worth the money!

I was helping my son laminate a skateboard deck with Titebond III on birch plywood. He was using a wide plastic scraper to spread most of the glue thinking that would be faster to cover the larger area. I was using the Rockler silicone glue brush for the edges. He was having a hard time getting an even spread of glue, but the Rockler brush was a breeze - making a perfect spread in one pass. Before long, we put the scraper down and he just used the little brush to quickly spread the whole surface. It took no time at all and spread just the right amount of glue. A larger brush would have been better, but I was surprised at how efficient this little brush really was. I rinsed the brush out with a little warm water after - very easy to clean!

I just used the Silicone Glue-Tool to glue up some hardwood faces on some plywood shelves. I used Gorilla Glue and, after I let it set for about 30 minutes, it peeled right off!

I bought this product a month ago and am very happy I did. It spreads well from either end yes clean up is as simple as letting the glue dry and then flexing the brush until the glue comes off. Buy a couple you will not regret it.

When I recently checking out at my local Rockler store, the manager asked if I'd be interested in one of these new glue brushes. My almost immediate resposne was going to be "no thanks" however I decided to give it a try. This is the best $ I've spent in a very long time. Having used my finger and scrap pieces of cardboard for years, this will be my new method of spreading glue. I will be buying a few more just to have handy. Nice job Rockler.

Glue-ups are no longer a painful chore but an opportunity to practice excellence.
Tip: If you are glueing up many parts successively, keep a small glass with warm water on the bench. Drop the brush in the water after the glue-up while you are clamping or pressing. It will be clean and ready for the next set of parts. Just shake it out and damp dry in a clean dry cloth.

I share everyone's enthusiasm about this product. It's by far the most effective glue spreader I've used, bristle brushes and rollers included. The spread is uniform and easily controlled, resulting in less glue waste.
The only problem I've found is with polyurethane glue. Dried glue is very difficult to remove without pulling out a few bristles. removing uncured glue with solvent is effective, I find xylene is the best, but eventually dried glue builds up at the base of the bristles. Does anybody have any ideas?

I recently purchased two of this item and used one for the first time today in assembling a wood storage case I'm constructing for an heirloom Christmas manger my folks made for me and my wife nearly 40 years ago. The brush lives up to its reviews. It allowed me to precisely control the application of glue and was extremely easy to clean up. These will make the gross of disposable glue brushes that I bought a few weeks earlier at twice the cost of the two silicone brushes, last a long time. This is definitely a tool that is a welcome addition to my shop and will get repeated use.

One of the best investments I have ever made. I get better glue joints, faster assembly time, and easy clean up. I am going to purchase an additional one for working away from my shop and one for the house. Might even work good for BBQ sauce.
Rockler has a winner with this tool!

This is a much better option than the disposable acid brushes I was using for glue ups. The disposable brush hairs would fall apart and stick to the glue surfaces and it was a mess to clean up. This silicone brush works great and is easy to clean up. You can wait for the glue to dry and remove it easily, but I would suggest rinsing your brush with water immediately for an even easier cleanup. Good job Rockler on a great and inexpensive product.

I used this brush for the glue up of 2 chairs for my daughters. I love this brush. It made the application a breeze. And I found the other end worked fantastically for ensuring the glue was applied well in the mortises made by the Festool Domino Joiner. This has made gluing easier for me and I love that it cuts out the need to use disposable brushes for my gluing. I will have to get one or two more just to be sure I have one ready to go at all times and in case I misplace one. Buy this brush. You will not regret it.

I will never buy another acid glue brushes. This is My best purchase for the year. It holds the glue and distributes it evenly over the material. I can rest the brush down during a glue up and the bristles does not touch the table or get dirty. I did some narrow strips and the glue did not run off the side of the wood. After I completed the glue up I just washed the brush out with some water and it was clean and ready to go again. Great product.

I heard someone say how they are always finding dirty acid glue brushes all over their shop floor. Not any more! This is the last type of brush I will have to purchase. Easy to clean and spreads the glue evenly on your joints, and it's so inexpensive I have multiples of them in the shop. Now why didn't I think of that!

I do ALOT of panel glue ups. My biggest problem is setting the brush down at the end of the day and forgetting to clean it out. PROBLEM solved ! I left Titebond III dry on it and the next evening I was able to twist the bristles back and forth and remove the residue. I'm going to try and make sure to clean this every night...glue should wash off the silicone with ease. Nice to know that if I forget...there is a simple solution.

Very nice product! I own 3 already. Why 3? I dont know old habits I guess. However this is a truly nice product. I would like to see different sizes available for bigger or smaller jobs, possibly a roller too. Good job Rockler!

Another great Rockler item. I purchased this brush because I had a lot of boards to glue up for a table top. I also used it for gluing stiles and rails together. The angled tip was perfect for getting full coverage on the tennon. The dried glue peels off easily. Great item for price.

Brush is great- use it and forget/lose it... when you find it again a week later and it's all crusty, pop off the old glue, use again. No worse for wear. Pro: - head doesn't rest on surface when you lay it down. Great when you're moving stuff around you can just drop it and it doesn't get all sawdust-y -really works. - Bristles are soft, easy to use. They hold excess glue well. Got a little too much on the work? it seems to store *some* up into the nap and less gets pushed around. Con: super minor!: -Head is too fat for smaller jobs, nooks. Paddle on other end not good enough substitute. -glue dries slower in nap duh, right?. Removing partially dried glue is prone to pick up junk. Partially dry means some dry chunks slide off due to the wet underneath. Not a big deal, but I'd advocate being lazy and letting it dry first, OR using john cooper's tip of dunking it in water between parts on same day glue-ups. Suggestion for Rockler: the black brush tip comes off- make some smaller/longer tips as an accessory kit, and it will be the only brush I'll use. I have only used with regular Titebond 1/2.

I must be the only person that does not care for this brush. I find it on the clunky side. You can't get into tight spaces like an acid brush can. Yes the glue peels off, sort of. Most of it came off. Small flakes that came off cling to it and will end up getting into my next glue up. I will have to soak it in water to get it completly clean. I think I will stick with acid brushes. I only gave it a fair rating because it was cheap enough.

Too large and cumbersome for finger joints. Photo shows Gorilla Glue but had to wait over a day for it to cure in between the bristles. Because of it's size, lots of the glue gets into the bristles resulting in a mess. The concept is good but I'm not a fan. Smaller size like an acid brush would probably be better.

I must be the only one on the planet who doesn't like this glue brush. I honestly can't see the draw to it. Really wanted to like it, but I went back to my tried and true acid brushes. I just couldn't get the glue to spread as easily as with the disposable acid brushes.

This product works just as advertised. It does a great job spreading the glue and giving you complete control. It is very easy to clean without water when the glue is COMPLETLY dry. So buy a few so you have a fresh one if you had to put it down for a while. I agree with an earlier reviewer that it would be great if it was also made in a more narrow size for thinner stock or smaller dove tail or mortise joints.

This glue brush is just the ticket for glue ups. It gives you amazing control of glue application. Once you are done set it aside and the the glue just dries up and sheds. No maintainence required. This is a must-have addition to your shop!
