First thing I do when I go into the shop is clip the remote to my belt loop and then it's great to be able to turn my dust collection system on and off as I need it. Really cuts down the walking back and forth. Highly recommended.

I ordered the control with two remotes and use it to run the dust collector. My shop is located on the lower level of my home. I keep one remote handy for me and the other hangs in the upper level of the home. When the dust collector stops I had better pay attention. That means that supper is ready or my wife needs my help. The system is fantastic. Highly recommended.

I really like this remote switch for my dust collector. I just clip the remote to my belt loop and go. It saves steps back and forth each time I need vacuum. It works great and appears to be very well made.

This little gem ranks right up there with garage door openers, ice makers and sweet tea. Once you try it, you want to kick yourself for not getting one sooner.

Prompt shipping, operates as advertised. This little yellow gem is a real step-saver. I keep the remote clipped to my breaker box when the shop is idle. When its time to power up I keep the remote in my pocket where its handy. The sensor is very reliable though the remote control requires a knack to operate successfully. I find that leaning on the start button doesn't trigger my dust collector motor as well as a very quick pulse with the thumb on the button. The range on this thing is great, and, as advertised, it does work through walls - even concrete block in my case. I'm very happy with this product, it was the icing on the cake of my home-made dust collection system. The fact that I got it on sale makes it all that much sweeter. I highly recommend this product. Once again, Rockler delivered the goods.

I've been messing with a 3-way switch setup, and kept burning out the contacts on the switches. This is the ultimate solutiuon to the problem. Just plug in and you are ready to go. I have dust cleaner in garage, but shop in basement. No problem going thru two walls.

I've had a dust collector for years and probably used it 25% of the time. It was too inconvient going back and forth for quick cuts. Now I put the remote on my belt loop and use it every time I crank up the saw or the router. It also makes my wife happy(less dust being tracked into the house)

Sorry, I have to rate this poor because it just quit working. This isn't a sophisticated device but at it is quite expensive for what it does. I've owned it for 3 years and have used it on a number of occasions, but certainly not on a daily basis. The warranty is limited to only one year. I guess I will have to just throw it away, and I refuse to order another at that price. I do not recommend this item! P.S. Anyone need a remote for one of these? They cost $18 to replace if you break or lose it!

I used to have the DC power switch near the power equipment, after having moved, the DC was set up in a further away spot, along with power further away. what a treat to use this! well worth the money, sturdy construction. I shifted gears, and plugged the shop vac/cyclone into the remote's outlet, this even made cleaning the pellet stove a breeze! I can think of a few other applications for this!

So far I have found this remote switch to be an excellent way to control the central dust collection system I have set up in my shop. Since my collector is at the far end of my garage, I bought a couple of more remote switches which I placed at handy locations around my bench tools. I also attached a remote to my apron for work with tools rolled to the center of the shop. Setting the dip switches was easy, as all that was necessary was to copy the settings on the original remote that came with the switch.

This is a great device when it's working. Mine has stopped working. I am guessing that there is a blown fuse but I don't know that for sure. I have looked online for a fuse with no luck. This is too expensive of an item to not be repairable. Don't waste your money!

Like the functionality of the switch, but mine failed after a bit less than a year's "light" use. The switch is rated for 1.5-hp, which is what my Jet collector uses.

I have had this for 3 years and it is still working great. I am able to turn on by dust collector from over 75' away. One suggestion is to buy an extra remote and leave that one on the switch.
