In response to the rave reviews for our Silicone Glue Brush, Rockler is now offering the brush bundled with our flexible Silicone Tray and Silicone Spreader, all featuring the same easy cleanup as the original brush. The spreader is ideal for evenly distributing glue over broad surfaces, such as when gluing up plinth blocks, corbels or thick table legs. One swipe with the spreader leaves neat rows
of ''raked'' glue, which fill in after a few seconds for perfect distribution.
When you're done with your glueup, just rinse with water, or simply set it aside, and the glue will easily flake off by the following day. The Silicone Tray features a small saddle in the end, which holds your brush so that any stray drips go back into the pan when you're not brushing. To experience the ease and versatility of our silicone glue tools, try the Glue Spreading Kit today!

Purchased this with the carry case, up until I purchased it I had been doing the finger spreading trick and getting glue everywhere. No problem now. I will by a couple more of these and several of the minis also. Can't go wrong with either.

The newest addition to this line is now out- the mini. The conical shape is perfect for getting into dowel holes. I gave the set for Christmas presents and told the people this was the absolute best gift I could give and that they didn't even know just how much they needed it.

LOVE IT !!! However, I suggest you get two or three. You will have to wait until the glue dries completely to remove the excess like the picture. I got the special with two and now I am going to purchase the mini version. Goodbye acid brushes.

Echo other comments - most useful item I have purchased in a long time. No bristles in the glue. Indefinite life.

Love this set. I had the silicone brush for a while before getting this set, and I longed for a silicone tray to match - and Rockler answered! I haven't had an occasion to use the larger spreader yet, but the tray and the brush are fantastic. This is a steal at the price, and you don't waste nearly as much glue!

Another woodworker visited my shop yesterday, saw this brush full of glue and started to make a snarky remark about how his cheap brushes work, so I popped off the glue and handed it to him.

Simply amazing! Not only does it give you superior glue control, it allows you to use less glue! By beginning with the thinnest ribbon of glue, you end up with the brush bristles full of glue and laying down with excellent coverage. The only thing you will find unusual, is getting used to how much less glue you need.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I can't belive a simple product such as this can make such an impression on a guy like me. I have been working with wood for over 30 years and I must say that this glue brush has impressed me about as much as anything I have purchased over the years. What a SIMPLE DESIGN and GREAT PRODUCT! I just love this brush. If you haven't purchased one yet - YOU BETTER GET ONE SOON!

Mission furniture, being my most common build, I have a lot of 1X laminating to do,, I have been eyeing the glue brush and picked one up before laminating a door for a project. Let's just say, the old flux brushes hit the trash as soon as I used it !!! Great little product !

I love everything about the brush except one thing. When cleaning or sometimes using, the brush end comes loose from the handle. So, do not apply too much pressure when spreading the glue. Sometimes pulling the dried glue out, the brush "head" comes off. Not a big thing, just annoying.

I NEVER bother to write reviews, but this product is great! My furniture business is using this product all of the time and loving the easy cleanup. It's now time to build on this product some more and make an even larger glue spreader and half size brushes. I would buy bunches of both!

Don't buy one. It won't be enough-get at least two so you will have one handy when you misplace one in the shop. Everyone talks about easy cleanup after use-true. Many also mention that there will be no more cleaning of acid brush hairs from the glue surface-also true. But a major benefit, seldom mentioned, is that the amount of glue remaining after just one pass of the angled silicone bristles is just right. That is a big time saver during assembly. At first,I thought the silicone brush idea was just a gimmick. Great gimmick!

I love this brush. The guys working for me love it because they don't have to wash it out at the end of the day. The newest guy thought we were lying to him when we told him to just leave it on the table and we would clean it the next day. Worth the money!

I just used the Silicone Glue-Tool to glue up some hardwood faces on some plywood shelves. I used Gorilla Glue and, after I let it set for about 30 minutes, it peeled right off!

I heard someone say how they are always finding dirty acid glue brushes all over their shop floor. Not any more! This is the last type of brush I will have to purchase. Easy to clean and spreads the glue evenly on your joints, and it's so inexpensive I have multiples of them in the shop. Now why didn't I think of that!

Another great Rockler item. I purchased this brush because I had a lot of boards to glue up for a table top. I also used it for gluing stiles and rails together. The angled tip was perfect for getting full coverage on the tennon. The dried glue peels off easily. Great item for price.

After reading all the 5 star comments I was a little intimidated to include my comments. I bought a brush soon after the item was introduced by Rockler. I agree that it spreads glue very well, even and with little glue ending up on the sides of the glueup where it shouldn't be. The problem I've experienced, and it seems to get worse the older the brush gets, is that not all the glue comes out of the bristles, leaving flakes and sometimes chunks that come out when brushing on fresh glue. In addition, the glue must be completely dry clear through before it will come out the way the pictures show. For Titebond III this can take a couple of days. In addition, i have snapped off two bristles by pulling out the solid glue. So, while I like the brush I end up washing it out after using so it will be ready for me tomorrow. Also, don't throw away the flux brushes as some have suggested! you'll still need them for tight spots where this thick, stubby brush cannot reach.

This glue brush is just the ticket for glue ups. It gives you amazing control of glue application. Once you are done set it aside and the the glue just dries up and sheds. No maintainence required. This is a must-have addition to your shop!
