I built a large hanging cabinet to store heavy woodworking tools in my shop. I was able to use two lag bolts to attach the cleat directly to the wall studs. The cleats were easy to install and carry a lot of weight. If I ever move the cabinet the two holes in the drywall will be easy to fix.

2 pair of steel cleats holding power for a 39" x 30" wood chopping block ordered to size for a wall mount in kitchen where frying pans, utensils and knick knack hot plate holders free up cupboard space in an already spacious kitchen. A real good buy.

I have used these to hang large heavy bulletin boards on both drywall and plaster walls. They worked great and kept the board from shifting when in use.

I used two pair of the cleats to hang my new 42" flat screen LCD TV. I had priced options costing between $50 and $200 all of which placed the screen farther off the wall than I cared to have it.
The cleats are predrilled for #10 Screws on 16 centers so placing the two cleats on the wall was a simple matter of carefull measurments and leveling. I drilled the holes needed for the 200mm spacing of the 5mm machine screws to hold the other pair of cleats to the TV. Simply lift the TV and place it on the wall cleats. You can even slide it left or right a few inches for a perfectly placed TV that hangs virtually flush to the wall.

I bought these to hang a homemade headboard. I only bought one pair, but my husband cut them in half. There were very easy to install and we had no problem aligning them and hanging it on the wall. I would recommend these highly for hanging heavier items.

This was an excellent purchase. The cleats are plenty rigid, but still flexible enough to form to a slight curvature in sheetrock. I used these to mount floating shelves. However, to avoid a gap between the shelf and the wall, instead of using two cleats, I made a modified recessed french cleat on the wooden back of the shelf. The metal cleat slides into the wooden back of the shelf and holds it to the wall with no give or flexing.
