I purchased this tool and on the second screw it broke between the drill chuck mount and flex tool. The first screw worked like would expect it to, design good but poor quality.

I purchased this extension for the exact reason in the photo. It worked just fine installing drawer glides in a narrow cabinet I built where my cordless drill was too large to fit. I have used mine many times with no complaints.

The flexible drill extension performs about as well as expected. I was able to bend it and fit into tight spaces, but when bent, it does not operate very smoothly - it jerks and is hard to hold in one place. If you need to get into tight spots, it will get you there, but I would not try drilling a "critical" hole without a starter or pilot hole.

The flexible extension broke during the first operation. The design is too light for serious users. Not a good product.

The extension worked for 1/2 a screw before it broke. If a power tool is needed, then this contraption is out of its league for anything but very light jobs.

I ordered this to use to remove the screws holding on a counter top I was about to replace. It broke after 2 screws. Threw it in the trash rather than messing with returning it. Not recommended.

Sadly, as the reviews indicated, this is a poorly engineered and designed product. It broke after the first attempt to screw a slide screw into a predrilled hole. It was unsuable after the second screw. Do not waste your money or time on this product.

Broke on the 2nd screw, with my driver on the lowest torque setting. Guess I got one that performed well, by comparison.

I purchased this item on sale some time ago knowing that at some time I would have a need for a flexible extension. A couple of months later, it was exactly what I needed however at the first application this unit broke. A ball bearing literally popped out of the casing. I was using a slow setting on my drill, the wood was predrilled for the screw...first time use it was a bust.
Maybe this would work better with a hand screw driver however as so many of the previous reviews have had a similiar problem, I cannot recommend this item at all.

This flex extension broke only after a few screws and the holes were pre drilled!

I have had 2. One was replaced and even the second did not hold up to more than a couple applications. I would not recommend this produst unless you want it for light applications.

The bit I was trying to use just rotated in the socket. Totally useless.
