Great product. It took a few tries to learn how to use it, but now I love it. On the router table, depth adjustment is now a breeze.

This has proven to be a real advantage for me. It is so much easy to set the router depths using this gauge than the old way I did it with a tale measure. I use it often and believe it gives good value for the money.

Great shop addition to any woodworker's domain. Easy to use and unlike some other gauges, it rests flat on the router table, making it easy to use hands for adjustment. It's well-constructed and amazingly accurate for the price. Regarding another reviewer's comments on the markings "not being protected enough from abrasion". As an experienced cabinetmaker,I find this to be true with all measuring tools. On any measuring tool purchase of mine--plastic or metal, the first thing I do is give it a good coat of paste wax and wipe it down--with periodic treatments. This not only cuts down on normal wear from abrasion, but also helps prevent rust or oxidation on a metal tool.

The stamp or painted measurements were faded, they don't seem to last very long. I'm glad to have a depth gauge.

I purchased this router depth gauge a few weeks ago and found it's extremely accurate for my use. I use it for my router, router table, and table saw. The only problem that I have experienced is that the numbers for the depths are wearing off. I would think a quality gauge would have the increment numbers etched into the aluminum instead of painted or decals. Otherwise, it works great until the increment numbers are gone.

Mine is a quality control failure. Several edges have pronounced sharp burrs and down one side the surfaces of the depth stops were sheared such that metal tore out. This leaves an irregular surface against which to set the bit, so it is not satisfactory. Will return for a replacement and see if this was just an anomaly.
