I have bought it in the past for high chairs I have made. Just restored an old high chair for my new grand children and used the hardware I have used in the past cause I knew it would work

Glad we found this hardware. We have a wooden highchair that belonged to our son when he was a baby. Now he and his wife have a daughter, our granddaughter, and it is so sweet that she can use her daddy's highchair. The new hardware works great!

Loved the hardware. We recently purchased this old wooden high chair at a yard sale with no hardware. Tried to find it everywhere, home centers, etc. no one had it. Finally found your site on the internet and bought the hardware for the tray and seatbelt for strapping the baby in. It works perfectly, my granddaughter doesn't slide out of the seat anymore. Highly recommend this merchandise. Thanks Again!

I bought a used wooden highchair, but when I got it home I realized that the tray was not latching properly. The wood was in excellent condition, but with the tray not working I thought I might has to take it to the dump. I'm so happy that I found this hardware! It worked perfectly and now the highchair is being used and enjoyed. Thanks Rockler!

Great solution to trying to salvage an old highchair. I refinished my highchair from when I was a child and the hardware was in rough shape. This was a simple change and it was easy to install.

High chair hardware #30866 is very good quaility, it is also forgiving if your arms are not perfectly squared up, the spring loaded laching mechanism will swivel. They latch very firmly at 3 different settings. I will purchase these again.

When my daughter bought a newer home, we found an old high chair in the attic. The chair was much older than the house. The tray was in pieces and part of the hardware gone. No safety straps, and much of it was literally falling apart. A little glue; a little sanding; a little finish work and new hardware and a safety strap system from this company made it all come tgether. What should have gone to the scrap pile is now a safe, functional and gorgeous piece of furniture!

This was the only high chair hardware I could find. I bought it to attach a tray I made to an antique high chair. I was disappointed with the operation of the slides. It was hard to get the stops to engage in the notches on the rails. Not a great value for the price.

I built a highchair in 1990 and used this hardware. The clips worked well with the rails. I just built another highchair and ordered the same hardware expecting the same high quality. It doesn't measure up. The swivels on the clips wobble too much. The tray rocks. The plating flakes off. The alignment between the notch in the rail and the pin in the clip is not consistent. I have purchased two sets to yield one workable set.

Initially the latches work great. Easy to install. Forgiving to attach in a new state. A year or two down the road I have to bend the latches back into place so that they catch in the position you want. Thickness or quality of the metal needs to be increased. They are so weak I am having to buy a new pair. I hope quality has improved.

Be aware that the hardware includes a warning on the back that reads "This product contains one or more chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling". We are trying to eliminate chemicals from our household, which is one of the reasons we are having a highchair made. Very disappointed that material so dangerous even in small quantities would be used to make something for children.
Editor's note: California Prop 65 warning is linked in the left hand side bar of this offer. Chemicals used in the production of metal products are on California's list and therefore warning is included as per part 2 described in link.

I have built several high chairs using this hardware. First one around 5 years ago and 3 more over the last 2 years. I've gotten requests from the last 3 for replacements due to sticking springs and clips not holding in the correct positions. Gave it a fair since the first one still functions as far as I know.

I have a 50+ year old wooden highchair that Gramma refinished for our new grandson--and it had no hardware. Son-in-law put this hardware on and we have a perfect high chair. Thank you very much
