Fiber rush is easier to use and outlasts natural rush. Our fiber rush is made from the highest quality paper and is a continuous strand to make your weaving projects easier. Perfect for chair seats, footstools, barstools and more. Brown color matches many antique seats for restoration projects.

I am a repeat customer of this product and it has worked very well for the child's chairs that I make, along with other pieces. It gets simpler each time I use it. I have found a few tricks to use as I am weaving the chairs. The rush has a tendency of unraveling. If you use a spritz of water on the rush as you are using it and it's easier to spin it tight and also helps the rush tighten up as it dries, especially if you utilize clamps as you mover around the frame. As always, the customer service and delivery is great. I don't know what I would do without Rockler and their crew.

New to this craft, but I think the quality of this product is great. I did find that it wanted to untwist while I was working but think that might just be my lack of experience. I think my project came out nicely.

I was trying to find some Rush to match with the rush used on a chair that my grandfather made for me and my sister in 1949. This product was the closest I could find and it worked well. The only negative comment I could make is that the rush would easily unspiral so I had to twist a lot while weeving the pattern. I made four of the chairs for my grandchildren. Thanks for maintaining an in-depth inventory of all the items us woodworkers need.

I'm a first-timer, too, and the only concern-not a complaint at all- was the packaging. It didn't occur to me that it would uncoil so wildly on each end. I will be ordering more because the quality of the product itself is excellent. On the next roll, I will just run a wire through the tube, tie it off, and hang it up so that I can easily roll off what I need without the mess.

I "do" chair bottoms for antique stores and individuals and the consistant quality of the product is very important to me. Another plus is the VERY fast prep of my order and the speedy delivery.

I am currently on my fourth roll ( of 770 yds). Every roll has been the same quality as the other. It is superior in quality to most I have used in the past.

We were trying to match rush that we had previously ordered to re-do 4 chairs. The quality of this product is excellent, but we did not like the brown color and returned it. We were looking for a natural color as our chairs are a forest green.

I am a 1st time user of this product and to redoing chairs with fiber rush, the you tube how to weave was a great help. One thing I would like to know is what type of finish is best for this type of rush.

This was the first time I have used fiber rush and the chair seat came out well. The rush seems to be a good product, but I wish it had been packaged differently. It was coiled on a cardboard roller about the size of what you get for paper towels (about 1.5 inch diameter). As a result it was very "kinky" and hard to work with. It would have been better packaged in a coil of 6" to 8" diameter.

"I only get to visit the Pittsburgh store once a year so I make sure to make my visit count. The staff there is always helpful and very patient as I zip from aisle to aisle like a child in a toy store."
