Adding
safety and security to areas from floors to miter fences is as easy
as painting with our Anti-Slip Coating. Simply roll on the coating
with an open-cell foam roller in one direction, allow to dry, then
roll on a second coat in the opposite direction. It works on virtually
any surface (even
a porous surface) as long as it is clean and dry. The coating stays
permanently elastic and flexible. Use on work surfaces to help hold
projects in place. Non-flammable. Gray. Comes with the kit.
Sold
in pints.

I purchased this kit about 5 years ago. As an amatuer woodworker I was a little worried about the construction of it. The included instructions we great, they take you step by step and detail everything. I work in the basement of my home as a hobby and this product does a wonderful job at cutting down on the dust, it is much more convenient than hooking up a shop vac to my sander and dragging around a hose. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, it is a very functional piece of equipment and I enjoyed building it and customizing it as well.

This machine has been in use in a one-man professional shop for over five years. Function is flawless. Upon my recommendation, a colleague bought two and ganged them together for sanding long stock.
Improvements/changes: Instead of the channels for filters I put backing pieces inside and hold the filters in place with storm window clips. The shelves on the end keep sanders handy (I'm a lefty) and the 110v outlet in front is convenient. Having the air nozzle close is worthwhile.
I recommend you not buy the abrasive paint unless everything you sand is only one-sided. Alternatively, I used foot-square sections of a product called Dri-Dek which is designed for floormatting in wet locations. (full disclosure: I am in no way related to that company; there are other comparable products on the market.)
It pleases me that dust collection is so accessible to the amateur and professional alike, and this tool goes a long way toward reducing the particulates suspended in your shop atmosphere.
