Customer Rating:
Tool worked OK but not as effective as using a sharp chisel or hand plane. Overall a disappointment.

The main trimmer worked well, but the edging blade seemed to gouge and chip the veneer. I used this tool with the Cabinet Refacing Banding to cap panelling on my camper window. The tool was so sharp it sliced the paper off the panelling. Recommend using this to edge solid wood.

This tool is perhaps the simplest woodworking tool outside of sandpaper! It is straight-forward, simple to use and, above all else, quite good at what it is supposed to do! I have suffered through the loss of skin on my knuckles and fingers for years in a house with less than premium cabinetry. After about 30 minutes of work on about 15-18 feet of cabinet facing and doors, I will no longer have to worry about lost chunks of knuckle skin as this tool has swiftly taken off the edge, making it one of my favorite tools in my tool chest! In fact, I like it so much, I have already relieved the edges on cabinetry in the houses of all my family! They too feel safer to approach their cabinetry these days, all because of an inexpensive yet very worthy woodworking tool!

It made the former use of single edge blades, for veneer trimming, seem like a stoneage tool by comparison, very happy with device.

Not as easy to use as I thought it might be, but an excellent value. Cornering tool works well.

Work decent along long grain, but not at all across short grain. Haven't used it yet as a veneer trimmer.

I ordered this tool from Rockler as a quick radius[cutter], and I am very please with it for that purpose. It is really quick to use and offers two radius sizes. Since it fits in my pocket, I don't have to go fetch it from the box like I would with a true radius plane.
As an edge trimmer for veneer it has some issues. Since is operates on the push, instead of pull, it can be hard to get good strong cuts. The guide/fence is only an inch or so long, so it is easy to slip and gouge your work if you are not careful. The bevel faces out, so tool naturally wants to turn towards the work. If you don't trim pretty close to the substrate before you start using this tool, you could turn the blade in pretty sharply.
Definitely worth the money.
