Bang for you buck, you can't go wrong. I couldn't justify purchasing the Grex, nor did I need something that could shoot 2" pins. No issues so far in hard and soft wood, MDF etc. The only reason why I did not give it 5/5 is because the tip has no rubber or other protection. I used it on some paint grade pine molding and the hole from the pin was minimal, but I had to fill the dent that the tip made in the wood it bounced as I shot the pin. I've gotten a little better with some experience with the nailer, but it is a concern.

I purchased one of these at a local woodworking show and love it. It makes the tiniest of holes in the surface that can often be filled just by sanding. The pins hold well. It helps to shoot it at a slight angle to add to the holding power. The gun has a double trigger where both must be pulled to fire it, which is a safety feature. It only takes a short time to get used to this. Highly recommended!
