Bracket was used to make a small shelf to hold a projector approximately 7 feet above the floor at our model railroad club. When not in use and the shelf is dropped and a railroad herald emblemis displayed. Double duty!

Used these to make a folding serving shelf on a BBQ enclusure. Nice strength, and they fold away far better than other options.

I used a pair of these brackets for a lift up table extension. They were exactly what I needed. Very heavy duty and easy to operate.

I couldn't be more happy with this product. This is my third attempt at an outfeed table. This product allowed me to get it right. Saves me critical shop space when not in use, yet solid and supports sheet goods when needed. Thanks for offering products that woodworkers want/need!!!

I bought a pair of these to use in the garage for a space saving table. I was hesitated at first because of the price - but now after installing them and seeing how functional they are, I will be buying more. What a great product!

My wife's sewing room is small. I used a set of these brackets to extend the sewing table I built when more work room was needed.

I used this set of 16" shelf supports on the Murphy bed I built. This way, my wife has more area to work when the bed is folded up in her hobby room.

I purchased the 16 inch brackets to make a folding (18" x 5')folding table in our laundry room. These were exactly what I was looking for & the table came out great. Only problem is the release buttons are a bid hard to engage, they may loosen up with more use.
Good product, I would recommend them.

I used 2 of these to make a folding table for the wall in my basement. When the table is up it's great for laundry or art projects. When it's down or on an angle the kids use it to play with their magnets. BE AWARE that this is not sold as a pair.

I plan to use the 12 inch brackets in my garage for a small work table during the winter as it is too cold out in the shed to work on anything! It is just what I was looking for, a sturdy piece of hardware and functions very easily to raise and lower out of the way if needed!

I used the 12 inch brackets for my Delta Unisaw's 24 inch off bearing table and they work fine. Maybe the 16 inch would be better, but these seem fine.

I am using two of these 16" brackets to support an outfeed table on a Delta Unisaw. They are plenty strong and work great!

Used for a shelf to hold a laptop computer. Very strong, easy to use, and I like that closure requires you to depress the catch, so it won't get folded up accidentally, crashing everything to the floor. Exactly what I was looking for.

The 16" size is just what I needed for my application, a foldaway countertop work space in the kitchen of my new home.
I am not using the "in between" stops but do see they would be excellent in applications needing them.
Operation is simple and easy and they are super strong. They were the exact bracket I needed. I reccommend them highly.

I used these brackets to install an eight foot section of kitchen coutertop in a "too small" garage to use as a work bench for projects that need bench type support. They are excellent for this purpose and allow a work bench that folds against the wall out of the way so we can get our second vehicle inside when it is not in use. I did learn that they are not designed to take side weight when I used them to balance one foot on while working overhead and bent the hinges sideways. That was my fault though and I have ordered a replacement and an extra bracket for additional support for heavy work. I recommend these brackets for similar usage. Five stars.

The 16" size is perfect for my application--plenty of handy, useful, foldaway countertop work space. The "in between" stops are really helpful when the area is used as an easel for art work. Operation is simple and easy and they are super strong. They were the exact bracket I needed. Highly recommended !!

The non-90 degree stops on these brackets greatly reduced their usefulness because you must continue holding the release lever while lowering the shelf. I don't know why anyone would want the shelf to stay at a position less than 90. The release lever was hard to work. The brackets were listed for use with a 24" shelf but even at 20" I had to reach too far under the shelf to lower it. I wish there had been a more complete description. I'm just waiting for [my customer's] phone call in complaint.

Editor's note. 70 and 80 degree positions are commonly used for drafting table type applications.

I used a pair of these brackets to construct an outfeed table for my new Delta Unisaw. They worked great. I did notice, as another of your customers did, that the other stops are a bit of an inconvenience. I doubt I'll be using this for drafting. However, the heavy duty aspct of these brackets allowed for the desired construction. This should serve me well.

Ordered four 16" brackets for a pair of flip-up countertops. Brackets are not stock at local Rockler store & had to be order online. One of the four brackets sticks when you try to release and put counter into flip-down position. Hopefully this bracket will loosen up with use ... if not problem will probably turn into a call back from the Client I installed these for. At [price] each these brackets should correctly as purchased.

I used this bracket to insall a shelf in the laundry room. The only problem is that it is awkward trying to lower the shelf.

I use these brackets for work surfaces in my shop and an outfeed support table on my table saw. They will also be attached to the bottom of a Murphy bed so my wife can use it as a work surface in her sewing room when the bed is folded up.
Now some comments on the reviews:
I believe the 24" refers to the distance from the front to the back of the shelf. If there is trouble reaching the releases, just make the shelf narrower. Also, By tilting the outfeed table at an angle on my saw I can make repetitive cuts and have the parts slide into a bin placed on the floor.
I also had a sticking bracket. It was caused by a mis-struck rivet. I filed the lump down and the bracket works fine. I probably should have exchanged it, but I was in a hurry.
