Specially designed cut point acts like a saw blade through wood, "pulverizing" the material as the screw is driven. Thread design reduces splitting and driving torque by as much as 30% compared to other screws. Heat-treated steel makes the screw exceptionally strong. Self-countersinking nibs eliminate pre-boring. Serrated Lo-Root® threads offer exceptional holding power.
Uses #2 Square-Drive or Phillips bits.
