Rockler Veneer Trimming Guide

Slots in our trim guide make edge trimming a snap.

Simply position the guide and slice along the long edge to trim the ''Ears'' on veneered cabinet rails and stiles for perfectly matched butt joints.

Trim veneer off flush with the back side of the face frame easier, faster and more accurate with this guide. Position the guide over a stile or rail, insert utility knife in trimming slot, and draw both the guide and knife along the length of the wood.

While you can perform the same tasks with a good straight edge, this tool makes it easier. Due to the variety of 90 degree profiles on this tool, keeping the tool locked (positioned) on a stile or rail while running the blade to make a cut reduces the opportunity to miscut the veneer.

We have had a tool similar in the past, []and we were unable to find something similar. We were very excited to find your product. We teach a class for our franchisees on Refacing cabinets and the Veneer Trimming Guide makes learning the process so much easier.

This trim tool is a great idea, however it is not deep enough for a true 3/4" face frame. If you attempt to use it to trim the inside of a 3/4" frame, you'll end up with a small exposed section of the orginal frame that will not be covered with the veneer.
