I have bought many pieces of cherry, and been quite happy with the quality and the shipping is very fast and my son loves to pop the air-fill bubbles that come in the boxes.

This thin (1/4") material showed some bowing and cupping, but that is to be expected. The wood was exceptionally clear and the finish was excellent. As a scroll sawer, it is difficult to find thin material. I will be ordering again in the future.

I have as yet to use the thin maple but I have used the cherry for a musical project. The surface of the wood was very good uniform thickness which was my main need. I used the wood to form the sides and make the back of a mandolin. I plan to use the maple to make a mandolin body also. The neck of the instrument was made from two pieces of 1X3 maple also supplied by you. This is a new hobby for me and I plan to use your wood products again.

Wood was of bad quality with holes not what you look for at 1/8". Even the cuts seemed roughed and cracky, very upset, glad I ordered a small amount to test, even though it wasn't useable I guess I saved some hardship.

I recently purchased four 3" X 48" X 3/8" and two 6" X 48" X 1/8" pieces of cherry. All were of uniform thickness and each came with one very straight side to use as reference, however, there was far more tear-out and chatter marks from the planing than would make me happy about the 'premium grade stock' delivered.
The 3" pieces I recieved were because there were no 6" pieces available, which is what I ordered originally. I got an email asking if 3" could be substituted and I replied that would be OK if the pieces could be book matched as near as possible-either our ideas of book match vary greatly, or there was no real effort made to book match.
I will make what I have work by planing, turning the tearout to the inside and routing a bead around the top and bottom of a jewelry box I am making in an effort to minimize the different grain of the pieces.
To be fair, I did not ask for different wood to be sent; I had already taken this week off to take care of a few things, including making this jewelry box - which is the reason I accepted 3" instead of waiting for the 6" to come into stock.
