Rockler/Insty-Drive Tapered Drill Bits and Countersinks

Tapered drill bits and countersinks are made of high-quality high speed steel (HSS). Both tapered bits and countersinks are removable and adjustable. Hex collars and hex shanks fit our Rockler exclusive Insty-Driver.

Nine-piece countersink set shown includes 3 countersinks with tapered drill bits perfectly matched for #6, #8 and #10 screws, a 3/8" stop collar for countersink depth, #1 and #2 Phillips bits, #1 and #2 Square Drive bits and a sturdy nylon case plus an allen wrench for all adjustments.

How the Rockler/Insty-Drive System works

Drill the pilot hole with the countersink bits or the self-centering bits, which both have a hex shank to prevent slipping.

Slip on the Rockler exclusive Insty-Driver, which fits over Rockler countersink and self-centering bits. Magnetic tip holds all 1/4" style insert bits and screws.

Drive home the screws. Then slip off the Insty-Driver and do it again. You'll get fast and accurate hardware installation every time!

Available sizes include #5, #6, #8, #10 and #12. Seven-piece countersink set includes #6, #8 and #10 tapered bit/countersink, #2 Phillips drive bit, #2 square-drive bit and 1/8'' hex wrench in a molded plastic storage case. Replacement tapered drill bits available in sizes 1/8", 9/64", 11/64", 3/16" and 7/32". Also available: 3/8" stop collar.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES :

The 3/8" shank chuck includes a quick-release sleeve and accepts all 1/4" hew shank bits and drivers.

I do like this product and would recommend it to others. Although this is my second set I've purchased within a year since two of the taper bits on my first set snapped just by tightening the sets screws.
