We've purchased these applicators often. I paint, rinse and re-use the brushes multiple times with no issues. Occasionally the insert will need a dab of glue to secure it after multiple use and immersion. The foam is better quality than what is available locally, and at a huge savings.
Absolutely no problems with oil or varnish application either. We would recommend them, a good product at a great price.

Used for both tung oil apps on hardwood and priming plywood. Did get some bubbles in the tung oil but only the first coat. All other apps worked perfectly. Excellent use-and-pitch product!

Easier to use than a standard paint brush with fewer or no streaks and no runs. These brushes enable the user to blend the last pass with the next pass and have less overruns. Great product!!

The foam brushes worked great with stain application, but I used them for clear coat application on the same project and they tore apart at the rubber stop. They work great with paint, but I would not use them again on any clear coating.

I purchased this set thinking it was cheaper and easier than buying from the big box store. Upon opening the package starting my first project I learned that the foam was so cheap it started to breakdown with a few minutes and left black chunks everywhere. I have continued to try and found there are only usable for very small project as they don't last as long as other simple brushes from anywhere.
