I was not sure if the product would have the compression strength required to hold the project in place during glue-up. I was more than pleased with the results and would highly recommend this clamping system to anyone. The rubber bands have a "beefy" construction and are easy to store in a ziplock bag. In the future, I intend on keeping my shop well stocked with these wonderful clamps.

Good quality rubber bands. I use them often when gluing up boxes and other small projects. Until I just read the description, I didn't realize there were different sizes - no wonder some of them were more difficult to apply!

I nearly did not order these excellent rubber clamps because of the name rubber band is associated with the office type. I would rename extra heavy duty rubber clamps. They were very useful in gluing the end piecies for the Rockler steamer trunk.
