SOLD OUT! - 2-1/2'' Diameter Dust Collector Starter Kit allows you to build a complete network of dust collection from your existing Shop Vac or other dust collection unit. 49-piece kit includes eight pieces of 2-1/2'' O.D. x 36'' clear tubing, five blast gates, 16 pipe couplings, three 45 degree elbows, 4'' to 2-1/2'' reducer, four T-connectors, two 90 degree elbows, 10-piece brackets and hardware.

Great starter kit. I got the 2.5" kit and it is easy to install and works great. My only improvement would be to replace/add one tube of flexible tubing.

This starter kit is the best on the market, it's perfect for the at home wood shop. Very easy to install and use. The tubing and other parts are high quality and work great together. Good job Rockler!

The service and promptness of Rockler is very much appreciated, the immediate delivery of the orders is great. I did order and receive the 2 1/2 inch starter kit, I added the mini dust collector that fits on the 5 gallon bucket. Yesterday, I ordered the adaptor which will permit me to install the system.

I agree this is a good place to start, however there is not enough brackets for the amount of flexible tube.
The flexible tube is good for connecting to the individual machines, but a combination of rigid clear smooth pipe for the wall and a flexible tube for the connection from the wall to the individual tubes would be better. Smooth pipe are also easier clean (outside and inside)and have less resistance. Overall a good product, but [other] systems were better in my opinion.

I estimate I would waste at least two weekends cutting and fitting the solid pipe to length and making several different configurations for my garage shop that has to be torn down nightly to put the cars away. I'm off tomorrow to purchase some flexible 2-1/2" hose.
In fairness, if my tools were not on wheels (Rockler locking casters, in fact) but stationary, this would be a perfect starter kit. I have been a Rockler customer for more years that I recall, and this is my first disappointment. I purchased this kit to use with my new Rockler router table, which is one of the best values I've ever purchased on-line.

Everything in the kit went together, however none of my 2 1/2 hoses on the vacuum fit any of the fittings. Have not been able to use it yet.
