The Crosscut Saw is ideal for cross-cutting both soft and hard woods. Features impulse hardened teeth ensuring consistent cutting through the life of the blade. Teeth are taper ground preventing the blade from binding amidst deep cuts.
  • Measures 22-3/8" in total length
  • Blade has a 9-1/2'' cutting edge and is 0.5mm thick
  • Teeth pitch of 1.4mm, 19 TPI
  • Cane wrapped wood handle
  • Made in Japan

Z-saws are very well machine made Japanese saws. They have a very high standard for quality control, and every replacement blade I have owned has performed identical. That is in a pinch smooth, straight cutting and aggressive. You get a a glassy smooth finish with this saw on any medium to hard wood, and just on the virge of shiny with a soft wood like pine. Although this saw is not meant for it, I have handled sheet good like plywood and it performed very well. I am very pleased with my purchase.
