Be aware that the plastic router plate #35062 that is pictured with this kit is a separate item and does not ship with Kit #59031.

Product worked well. It fit on my Porter Cable 690 router base easily. It's a little awkward to tight the locking nut down. The plastic case is handy and the template guide is a nice extra.

This bushing kit is a very well made set. They will not fit my new Black and Decker plung router RP 250 so i will have to get another new router to use them but you can never have to many tools.

Just received the set today and have only checked to make sure it fit my DeWalter router. Appears to be an excellent set of bushings and center guides for both 1/4" and 1/2". Seems to be excellent product and a great deal, especially at the 50% sale price and free 2-day shipping! Go Rockler!!

Very pleased with the set, but I had to cut down the collars on a couple of bushings as they were too long to use with 1/4 inch patterns.

The guide bushings are exactly as advertised. I love the centering guides which make the task very easy and accurate. I experimented with the bushings to see if I could make an inlay as well as cut the hole. I am delighted with the result. The inlay was a perfect fit.

Had an opportunity last week to use these guide bushings with my Porter Cable 690 router. I was working on a special project that needed slots in 3/4 inch plywood and required precise alignment. These guide bushings made the job a piece of cake (figuratively speaking). One template required a 1/2 inch platform and the guide bushing I wanted to use was deeper than that. This meant that the bushing needed to be altered slightly and being made from solid brass also meant it was fast and easy to accomplish. Can you tell that I am very pleased with this product?

I have never used a router guide bushing before. these are of very good quality, easy to set up and delivered great performance. I used them with a jig to finish a curved edge on a dining room table. I look forward to finding additional uses for them.

Product is very good quality all around. Setup is easy and true with the centering pieces. Case is well made. Be prepared to use longer shank-depth bits (3 inches or longer) since the bit will need to clear the bushing when seated in the collet correctly. ID and OD measurments are extremely accurate, I only wish the actual depth of each bushing was mentioned in the product description. I was not prepared for the depth limitations and had to purchase a bit 3.5 inches long with 1/2 inch shank to get past the depth of the bushing and deep enough into the workpiece. Absolutely no regrets on a fine purchase of a well made set all around. Accuracy, quality and price can't be beat. Recommended.

I purchased this set on sale at a very good price. The alignment pilots are a definite plus, although my Bosch 1613 EVS doesn't allow for moving the base with the bushing adapter. Still, the base was perfectly aligned when I checked it with the pilot. Looks like a very high quality product. Good case!

I have never liked the bushing system on my Bosch routers. Even when the holder was tight the bushings seemed to move around. The Rockler guide bushing fit the adapter bushings well and were rock solid when everything was tightened up.

I bought this kit because of the price, the reasonable range of guide dimensions, and the two pilots that are not include in many sets. I also prefer brass. I think it is a good value. Storage case is a nice plus and is not too bulky.

I own four routers, each with their specific "duties" in the shop. Unfortunately, the bushings will only fit one out of the four routers, but with the low price that I paid for the set, it was worth it, to designate it as a dedicated set for that particular router.

The router guides worked great with a good price. Having them come with a case is excellent as long as you close the lid before you use your router.

This set's fit and finish far exceeded my expectations. The threads were finely machined. The pieces easily threaded onto my router. I had previously purchased a set similar to these but was disappointed in them. I would recommend these to others including those who may have purchased cast or machined stamped bushings.

The product is very handy and is made well and the plastic case is very nice. I am a novice woodworker however and this was my first attempt at using a bushing set like this and found the directions very lacking. I had trouble using the centering bit, the directions diagrams and video do a poor job of showing how to actually use it. My first attempt at using the 1/4" bushing the housing was vibrating and eventually tore up the bushing which is the sole reason I bought this kit. I'm sure more experienced woodworkers will have better luck .

I like the brass and it fit my Ridgid base plates perfectly. However, some of the guides themselves were too long for my ChestMate dovetail jig and I had to file them shorter.
Note that when using a 1/2" shank bit and the 5/8" guide, extreme care should be taken to perfectly center the bit, or it will rub and grab the guide bushing, unscrewing it and making it extremely hot. I've still got the burn mark on my finger from when I tried to screw the guide back together.
Overall, a good set and a good case.

Purchased recently, but not able use on my combo Bosch 1617evs router set since the hole in the base is 2" on this router, while these bushings fit well with 1 3/16 (as advertised). Very nicely machined pieces of brass.

A well made accessory. I have only one complaint. The part of the bushing that is supposed to follow the guide or pattern is not the same length for all sizes. I have not been able to find a rational for the difference.

I would have prefered that the online description of the product included that the template guide fits router bases with a 1 3/16" diameter center hole. I have a Porter Cable router and had some trouble. I researched the internet and found that I had to make a router base to fit the template guide. But that does not take away the quality and usefulness of this product. I like this product very much.
Editor's note: sizing info is listed in the "more info" page in this offer.

The plastic case is nice, closes well, and it's especially important that there are centering bits with both 1/4" and 1/2" shanks. You will find that the inner edge of the router end of each of the template guides has been beveled nicely, to better seat the centering bit.
Fits any base with a 1-3/16" diameter center hole and that includes my Craftsman 320.17542 router.

I bought this set on while on sale. Good quality for the price. They are machined brass which I prefer over some of the less expensive pot metal guides which tend to corrode. The storage case is a plus to prevent them from getting dinged up or lost. Thumbs up on this Rockler product- I will probably order another set if they go on sale again.

Good bushing set, but the description is wrong. It most definitely does not work with ANY template. For example, it will not work with Rockler's Concealed Hinge Router Jig-It template as that requires a short-shank bushing which this bushing set does not include.

The bushing set was a good price when I got mine. I bought a set before from somewhere else, it was junk. On engineer spec. runout, and tolerances were under and over when it was to be under. So this set is no exception, the spec of tolerance using a digtal calipers and machinist instrument to check these bushings. In decimal spec. 5/16" bushing was .31 on O.D. & 1/4" was .2525 on I.D. with .001ths runout. 3/8" bushing .373 O.D. & 9/32" was .284 on I.D. This way it was thru the whole set, To me I gave it an 8 on quality and workmanship. Runout was sometimes more. oo15ths still ok. I checked the base on my router and on the runout, it was about .003ths consistency from each Countersink holes. Case is very good, overall I give it a 9. Ps. Idea that I came up with when mounting guide bushing in the router used a O-ring that fits snug to bushing, this keeps the brass nut from backing off. If the o-ring is too thick, cut it half the thickness. Works great for me, no problem. I hope this info will help future wood workers.
