I tried out the Rockler Speed Control and it worked perfectly. It slowed all my routers down nicely. I previously tried two others with a lower amperage rating,(15 amps)from another online source and both failed to slow the routers. The Rockler control has a nice "on-off switch as well.

Product works exactly as designed. I was attempting to use plastics in some of my projects (as windows and display cases). The on/off speed of my router kept melting the plastic instead of shaping it. The Router Speed Control allows me precise control of my router and allows me to shape the plastic without melting it.

I have tried every speed control out there. This is a first class product that is rugged and yet has a delicate full range control of your tools speed. And with a 20 amp rating it handles most every router out there. Kudos for a top-shelf product that works like it is supposed to.

Adding the Rockler Router Speed Control was part of an overall upgrade of my router station. (I also added a Rockler/Jessem Router Lift FX at the same time) Now my PC-960 has all the versatility of a much more costly router.

I purchased this router speed control and used it on my wood lath. This works great, giving me great range of turning speeds.

I used the Router Speed Control for the extra options it gives me. It's sturdy enough so I can use it with other tools.

Speed control works beautifully. The one thing that I did not like was no way to permanently mount the control to your work station, router table, etc.
I took off the top hook and bent the tap up, drilled and fastened a screw through this. It works for now but I'll rig something more secure later.
"Oh how I wish there was a Rockler someplace close to my home. I've bought so much since I found out about them on-line that they are a permanent "button" on my desktop." -
