These hinges are easy to install without boring a large mounting hole. They work great and permit doors to open fully enough so drawers can be pulled out. Self retraction of the door panel is slightly weaker than compared to traditionally cup-mounted hinges but this is not much of an issue. The hinge dimensions are somewhat smaller and permit a wider drawer than cup-mounted hinges having the same opening capacity. I liked them so much that I bought more for a future project.

Tried to use this hinge on an inset door application. The edge of the door would rub on the edge of the cabinet when opening the door. Tried adjusting the gap on the hinge side in both directions with no success. Replaced them with Blum hinges and the Blum hinges work fine. May work as advertised on overlay applications.
