Open a drawer equipped with Blum Tandem Plus Blumotion slides, and by the time it's closed, you'll be won over. Incredibly smooth full-extension action combined with a self closing mechanism that engages 2" before the drawer is closed, and ever so gently eases it back into the cabinet, make these slides truly top-of-the-line. Add to that the fact that the slides are totally concealed—no clunky metal to detract from the beauty of your wooden drawers - and you have a recipe for a classic. This newest generation of Tandem Plus Blumotion features mounting holes on the bottom of the slide housing (except 12" slide) so you can mount the slides directly to a horizontal surface, four dimensional adjustment and elongated holes for depth adjustment. For faster, more flexible adjustment of your drawer fronts, try the optional Adjustable Drawer Locking Device (46209), which replaces the standard locking device that come with the slides.

These are great slides, however, the instructions that came with them show details and dimensions that are difficult to figure out and I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do with that information even if I was able to figure out what the drawings represented. So, as any guy would do, I set the directions aside and just installed them. They’re just about ‘stupid-proof’, so they’re VERY simple to install without the instructions.
My kitchen drawers came with bottom-mounted slides that are not full-extension. Those bottom-mounted slides allowed the cabinet manufacturer to make the drawer boxes to the full width of the opening, so side-mounted full-extension drawer slides were not an option.
My installation also involved three drawers in a double-faced peninsula cabinet, so the brackets that were supplied to hold the back of the slides wouldn’t work in that application. That involved a little ‘engineering’, and thankfully I have a tablesaw and some wood to make spacers and retro-fit the needed supports.

I bought one pair of slides to try them out, and liked them so much I just ordered 9 more for pull-out drawers I'm building for my pantry. Really nice slides, and I love the Blumotion closing mechanism.

I really enjoyed installing the Blumotion Slides. they were easy to use, they slide nice, and they are quiet. I recommend using them on all cabinet jobs.

Slides are easy to install, quiet and glide nicely. One downfall is cheap plastic parts on disconnect latch one of which was broken when I even received it.

Used these on the file cabinet shown. They are easy to install, very robust and the motion is very smooth. With these drawer slides, more weight equals smoother motion. The adjustability at the front and the back is very simple to use after they've been installed. Highly recommended.

I ordered these for the new home I'm building, so they haven't seen any real use yet; however the sliders (although pricey!) appear to be well manufactured and I don't anticipate any problems. Shipment was also made very promptly which really helped us with the timing of this phase of the project.

I ordered the Blumotion for Tandem Drawer Slides for a customer who tried them at an in-store display at the local nation-wide home center with the blue sign. They wanted $116 per drawer set, and Rockler's price was less than half that. Installation was simple and straight forward. This was a drawer replacement in existing kitchen cabinets, and aligning them was much easier than doing so with traditional slides. The only glitch in the order was I received 2 left side latch mechanism for one set of slides, and Rockler sent a replacement overnight no charge. My customer is very happy, and I will recommend the Blumotion Tandem Slides to all my customers.

I just purchased two sets of the Tandem Blumotion 21" drawer slides as a direct replacement for Tandem 21" slides that I already have installed (not Blumotion). Unfortunately, the kit only works with drawers up to 5/8" thickness. My drawers are 3/4", and although I have Blumotion on other 3/4" drawers in the house (came with the house), these will not work as they only accommodate up to 5/8" drawers. Apparently Blum makes the exact same slides to accommodate 3/4" drawers. I will unfortunately have to return them.

Used 12" & 9" Blumotion for inset drawers, and they were very difficult to adjust, and get repeatable closings. Always seemed not to close far enough all the time, and shifted a bit left and right. Maybe good for overlay drawers, but NOT FOR INSET DRAWERS.
Advice, don't buy the template, you can drill 3 holes for each slide!

No instructions - I mean none - came with my glides. But after getting all them mostly installed, I did finally find instructions on the internet. I think they will be excellent in my older cabinet drawers (over 25 years old). I had to really do a lot of thinking to make them work, but am glad I did it.

You will not find a better drawer slide. I can't say enough about these. However, I don't use the Blumotion because they break fairly easily.

These tandem slides mount underneath and are not visible even with the drawer opened to the full depth. The entire drawer extends out of the opening. There is a nice quick release to separate the drawers from the slides which facilitates installation. The latches for the quick release could be a bit beefier. I sheared off one tooth when the drawer accidentally fell open as I was tilting the cabinet. There is a micro-adjustment front and rear for leveling and positioning the drawer. The best part though is the Blumotion mechanism. It is a conversation piece! Highly recommended.
