I was shopping at my local big box home improvement store for a roller stand. Disappointed in the quaility of what I saw, I decided to build my own. Searching for a roller, I came across this stand by Rockler. The quality of workmanship that went into building this stand far exceeds my expectations. It's easy to adjust and I don't have to worry about this stand collapsing during use.

Very sturdy, great for cutting full sheets of plywood and that makes it safer than regular rollers to use. Folding flat for storage is a great idea.

Very impressed. I purchased a roller type stand from HF several years ago and was not happy with construction or ability to adjust. Your ball bearing stand is quality, definitely worth the cost. I will be ordering additional stands in the future.

"Heads up" review only. The only reason it doesn't get a #5 is that I want everyone to read my comments. This is really GOOD stuff - I am the only problem. I have purchased both this unit and the "Heavy-Duty Fliptop" roller stand which costs another $30-$40, depending on sale events. First thing I noticed upon unboxing is that this unit is noticably lighter duty than the "Fliptop." So, I got on line and checked. Sure enough. There are two flavors of "heavy duty" - 220 lbs and 440 lbs. I use this to run 12/4 and 14/4 x 12" x 10' slabs of hardwood through my planer. It isn't 400+ lbs, but when I "drop" it on the roller, the stand needs to be extra, EXTRA strong. So - pay attention to the specs, make sure you get the strength you need, and stay safe.

As so many other have said, this is an excellent product. I recently used it for a project involving working with long stock on my table saw and it worked great. It is well designed and well built. I plan to pick up another one while they are still on sale.

This stand is superb. I needed support for the outer end of heavy oak so I could route the ends on the router table. Used crossways the ball bearings worked perfectly; the wood moved smoothly. It worked better than having a helper try to support and guide the wood evenly! Then the stand folds back up to store out of the way. I think I'll get another so I have one for either side of the saw blade for outfeed of long pieces.

Bought it for a project where I needed stability for by bench saw because I have to cut long maple boards. This roller stand helps me keep the wood on line much better than with the roller type. I have to work out of a small garage where space is at a minimum (sort of like working out of a sardine can). The sale price was a definite plus and Rockler quality is always uncompromised.

I was really surprized when I opened the box to find it ready for use! And was of very study material.
I really liked the adjustable feet on the bottom. My floors are very unlevel, and that works great. I use it with my table saw and I will be getting another on soon.
I highly recommened it!

I bought these rollers when I started an ambitious project for built-in cabinets and shelves on an 11 ft. wide wall. One set of these rollers is like having an apprentice in my basement workshop.

A lot heavier duty than I expected. Very sturdy and easy to set up. I build alot of jigs and fixtures for my shop but could not build one like this for less.

Good sturdy quality item. The ball bearing rollers work freely as opposed to (another brand) support I bought and returned. It's heavy duty. Only problem is if you hang it up upside down, make sure you securely clamp the center piece - it will fall out if not (a little rough on your big toe).

None of the other reviews mention the main benefit of this outstanding item, v. the roller stands. It works best with sheet goods - either perpendicular to line of travel or turned at any angle to 90 degrees. Provides a longer continuous surface then the 1 3/8" single roller stand, which doesn't handle panel cross cutting as well, for example.

"I live in NJ, and wish there was a physical store near where I live. My experience with rockler.com is second to none. Not only are your products first rate, but customer service/product support is exceptional. I've called several times, and never received someone on the other end of the phone who was anything but extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. The biggest compliment I can give is that I TRUST Rockler for all my woodworking needs. The only other store I can say that about is LL Bean. My wood working friends in western NJ love Rockler. Keep on keepin' on - and get a store here in Jersey!!"
