These thick galvanized steel bed rail brackets form a rigid knock-down connection between the bed rails, headboard and footboard, all with the ease and speed of surface mounted installation. Unlike other bed rail brackets, there is no need to mortise into the rails and posts. Just screw them in place—all bed rail hardware is hidden from view.
Technical Details:
- Made of 18 gauge galvanized steel.
- Set includes four matched sets, two left, two right.
- 5'' long—made for 6'' wide bed rails.
- Use #8 screws (not included). Length will depend on thickness of posts.
What's in the Box:
Four matched sets of bed rail brackets: two left and two right. (8 pieces total)

Can't say about the ease of installation, since these came on a purchased bunkbed. However, I can address durability. I just had one bedrail attachment fail "prematurely" after 25+ years of continuous, and hard service on a bunkbed / 2 twin bed combo. Very happy with the lifespan considering it went thru 4 kids, with one grown adult still using it in the twin bed setup. Will be buying 2 sets and replacing all hardware so it is ready for the grandkids. Hardware hasn't changed right down to the 2 little holes in the side of the head/foot board hardware.

These brackets were very easy to install even without directions. They seem to be good and strong. The long run will tell.

Bought these for beds for my granddaughters. Since I was pressed for time, I thought these would be faster to install. They worked out perfectly. They are actually heavier than the picture shows. Accurately drill the mounting holes, attach with your own screws none supplied and - that's it. It took longer to layout the holes than it took to install. Definitely will be using these in the future.

I used these hangers on my newest bed king size, mahogany, platform style because they looked much easier to install than the galvanized steel "router" style. Wow was I correct! Installs in easily 75% less time. The fit is solid if you take your time marking your drill holes. These fit as close or closer than the galvanized steel version. I would easily choose this style over any other style of bed rail fastener.

I have used these bed hangers before along with other types and I have to say that these are about the easiest to install. There is no pre-mortising or drill in order to accomodate the hook portion of the hanger so it can be installed after the rest of the bed is completed and finished. Their simplicity removes all of the guess work and reduces the time from the date of the customer order to delivery.

Very easy to use, and seem sturdy. Made a set of bunk beds over a year ago with them and the twins (who can destroy an anvil) had no problem with them at all. If I build another set, I'll use them again.

Very easy to install, they seem adequate structurally and easy to use. They are of much lighter construction than the Surface Mounted Keyhole Bed Rail Brackets (item #32077)I have been using on previous projects, which may be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on whether a child enjoys jumping on the bed, etc. I would not hesitate to use them again, especially considering the cost compared to the other type.
