Rockler's new Tenon Maker cuts five different size tenons (5/8", 1", 1-1/2", 2", and 2-3/4" diameter in unlimited lengths) using your router and a carbide-tipped router bit.

Tenons are cut by rotating the log through the wood guide. The carbide bit cuts the tenon in a matter of seconds.
The Tenon Maker mounts directly to Rockler's exclusive aluminum router plate for use in the Rockler router table, or it can be mounted to any flat surface for stand-alone use out of the shop.
The Tenon Maker includes the aluminum frame, your choice of one of the three wood guides, and a 1/2" shank router bit.

I love this product. I purchased this product to construct three bar stools for an event this past week and am more than satisfied with the results. Not only did the stools turn out great and stand up to hundreds of uses but the actual tenon maker made the entire process a quick and simple build. I would recommend this tool to anybody looking to build log furniture.

I used this tool to make log railing for my deck. It put a beautiful 2-3/4" tenon on the end of a 7" diameter log. It performed exactly like it was supposed to, my deck turned out great. My wife is very happy with the construction and my father-in-law even had good things to say about it. I have and will continue to recommend this tool to all my serious woodworker friends.

This system has worked well for me, I am now on my second bit. I started with no experience and now have made 4 beds and several benches. I think this is the easiest and most efficient system I have seen. It does take some time to get your tennons perfect.

Does work decent and makes nice tenons once you finally get it adjusted, but is hard to keep plastic insert adjusted to make multiple "perfect" tenons. The plastic insert needs more support.
