I mounted the 12" Chopmaster saw blade on Hitachi sliding CMS and it produces the finest cuts I have ever made and I have been sawing wood 30 plus years now. I've used Freud's saw blades exclusively in the past few years but after using the Chopmaster, this blade's performance is unmatched. I'm going to buy another one to ensure I will always have one on hand when one is send back to Forrest for resharpening. The blades aren't cheap but they are worth every penny spent.

The 12" Chopmaster saw blade is the cat's meow of saw blades. I have other expensive blades that cut smooth, but tend to suck small pieces into the blade when I make a cut on the right side. I have cut paper thin pieces with the Chopmaster and never experienced this problem. And did I mention that it cuts smooth and splinter free in all sorts of wood. The price is insignificant compared to the time and material I save.

The only regret you'll have is not buying one sooner.

Excellent blade. The 12" cuts great and is very stable when tilted over on my compound miter saw. Because of the high teeth count, you must be patient with your cut rate to get the best results.

I get very clean and crisp cuts with this blade. I haven't had it very long, so I don't know how the edge will hold up, but it seems extremely well made. It's a little pricey, but if you want the best quality, this is the blade to get. Rockler's price was the best I found.

I have used Forrest blades exclusively(Woodworker II for general purposes, Woodworker I for fine cuts, and their dado sets) in my table saws for the past 15 years. I have a number of Woodworker II blades that have been sent back to the factory for sharpening several times, and they alwas come back in great shape and at a resonable price. That's why I bought the chopmaster for my 12 inch chop saw. I get clean crisp cuts in all types of wood.

The Forrest Blades are by far the best. The Chop Master was as fine a blade as I have used on my sliding miter saw. Rockler not only delivered the order in only a few days, but their price was a little lower than other providers. I am completely happy.
