I have been applying a water based acrylic varnish over stained wood using the low cost cheesecloth tack rags, which is the only thing available here. I became aware of the Norton microfiber product and found it in the Rockler catalog. Everything that I learned during research indicated that this dry tackcloth would work well. All that I can say now is that this Norton product is fantastic. No problems with dust and no problems getting the finish material to go on smoothly. Great product. What amazed me was thatno store here was even aware of this dry tack cloth! including two paint stores. Even the two leading home centers do not have it. Thanks Rockler.
