This adaptation of a technical drafting tool used before
CAD was developed has been well-received by this wood-
worker. At one time (60's), there were several mfr's
of lead-holders, lead, and sharpeners.
Thanks for the reintroduction.

Have tried all kind of pencils. This by far is the best. Am going to buy 3 more, one for each work station.

I have been using the standard carpenter's pencil and #2 round pencils, none of which have the lead centered in them; that means that they don't sharpen properly and the points always break. When they get short, they always seem to disappear when I need them. The Cabinetmaker's pencil set has solved my problem. It stays in my apron pocket, the lead is centered and I can make a very sharp point with the included sharpener. This allows me to make a very fine line that is easily erased or sanded away. I love it.

What a time saver. I don't have to worry about dull or broken tips any more on regular pencils. I keep it in a pocket in my shop apron. Very cool!

This pencil broke before I even got to use it. While opening the package it fell about 1 foot onto my wookbench and the tip broke off - way to fragile for a wookworker's tool.
Editor's note: Chris, our customer service at 800-279-4441 will be able to assist with this.

I purchased this pencil set because I hate standard wordworking pencils. They always crack and the lead is never centered correctly. Well 2 days after I received this pencil something inside went wrong because it wasn't allowing my lead to come out. The more I tried to fix it the more it broke down. It is totally worthless now.

So far so good. I loved my first one but after only 8 weeks it stopped advancing the lead. If this one dies I will let you know!
