These tools are the best things since toothpaste! I own a cabinet shop and the applications that these tools can be used for are endless. The best thing is NO HAMMER in tight places. I use them everyday and the hold up to some rough abuse and keep working like new. I say anyone that works with wood as a hobby or everyday should have a couple of sets!

I saw this product one day when I was helping my cousin who is a contractor. A painter he hire was using it to do finish work. We ask him about it and he wouldn't tell us where he got it, so I googled for spring nail set and found it. I bought it for my cousin and he loves using it.

I've used these for about 10 years. Very hard to find. Absolutely indispensible for cabinet crown and trim because the power is so focused that it won't knock a glue joint loose. Works great on traditional nails as well as air nails. One thing I don't like is that I have to buy the whole set. the small one works for 1000s of uses but I have never had a need for the chisel. They also make a great safety tool for punching a car window.

When I first saw this product in another carpenter's tool box a while back, I thought, that's pretty neat but didn't give it a second thought. Then recently I had the opportunity to use one and I was immediately impressed! Haven't tried the chisel yet but I'm sure it performs equally well.These nail sets are actually fun to use and I think every finish carpenter and woodworker should have a set. Very precise and hard hitting yet doesn't transfer the impact to any other part of your project.
