I intended to use this product to sand the gear teeth on my wooden gear clocks that I make. The scroll saw file marked as "medium" grit was extremely coarse! It was equivalent to about 20 grit sandpaper if there is such a thing. The file marked "extra fine" was equivalent to about 60 grit. The surfaces of these files are not very flat compared to sandpaper or a needle file. I found you cannot do precise sanding with this product. They may be okay for rough work. I will stick to the product that is made from fabric backed sandpaper that has plastic ends that fit into the scroll saw. Those work much better than these scroll saw "files".
"I purchased 4 sets of Steel Table Legs at a huge discount! More than 50% off compared to what I thought was already a good deal from another online store. Had to cancel that one and thankful I found this site. My hours of searching online paid off. " -
