These are heavy duty, parrallel and precise. They left no marks, even when clamping up a 3/8 panel, with no clamping pads. My only negative is that right out of the box the clamp is tough to get to move sliding up/down the bar, not the screwing portion but putting a little wax on the bars had them working much better in just a few minutes. I highly recomend these and will be buying more.

I had used other brand clamps for many years. However, after trying one jet clamp several years ago I have gradually phased other brands of clamps out. Jet clamps have a large clamping surface and they adjust easily. Never a problem tightening or loosening the jet clamps.

Not much to say here other than I agree with the others who gave these clamps five stars. I was pleasantly surprised by the heft and quality. I will be watching for future sale prices.

These are excellent and have replaced my old style Bessey K-Body clamps as my go to clamp. I just wish they went on sale more often.

Great clamps - bought more after using it the first time. Gives good, equal pressure throught the work piece and helps to keep the piece and wide jaw space helps to keep the work piece from twistng during clamping.

I bought these on the recommendation of The Wood Whisperer, Marc Spagnuolo. These clamps are incredible. They are super heavy duty, have a huge clamping surface, and a quick release. I'm very impressed. I don't have any other parallel clamps to compare them to, but I probably won't buy any other brands.

I have been wanting this type of parallel clamps for a long time but kept just using my pipe clamps. Finally ordered them with the latest sale through Rockler. Money well spent. Plan on ordering some more of different sizes.

The clamps are very well made with some nice features. Most of the pictures show the clamps with the NOT INCLUDED clamp blocks. I should have discerned this when I saw the block kit shown separately. As for the clamps, they work will but you need to be aware that they can mar some surfaces. I had to sand them down a bit as another buyer mentioned. Otherwise, nice versatile clamps.

These clamps work well and are a great value. The Bessey brand parallel clamps do adjust a little smoother and easier though.

I bought these on the recommendation of Marc Spagnuolo, (The Wood Whisperer) and I must say I am very pleased with them. I don't have any other parallel clamps to compare to, but I can say that I love these clamps, I am going to have to order up some of the 2 footers real soon.

These are my go-to clamps. I could almost make a box just so I could use the clamps. They tighten easily, don't slide around (trigger really is a must), and provide plenty of force. They don't mark the wood under proper use (no promises if you don't clamp parallel and level). I sometimes check Rocker's site for no other reason than to see if these are on sale. Shipping is always a potential problem with heavy items (little plastic parts break)! however, Jet clamps arrived with less damage than others (Irwin and Bessey) that I've ordered - I think the design, rounded over edges and maybe even the quality of materials makes some of the difference because in each case, the shipping box was the worse for wear.

Awesome set of clamps. I only bought them because Rockler was having a nice sale, but they are, in my opinion, better quality than the Bessy K body clamps that I was used to. I will be buying more Jet clamps.

Bought two of these kits with four free 12" clamps. Sure am glad I decided on the Jet clamps instead of the green [competitor] or Bessey clamps that I was about to order. I found the Rockler rebate of 12" free clamps just before I made a big mistake. Thanks for a great product and an even better Rockler deal.

I have both these clamps and the similar Bessy clamps. They're very similar in quality but I do have to say that I like the Jets' better. It's another product that is built in China but the quality is superior. The trigger release is also a very nice feature. In fact I liked them so much I bought another 4 clamp set.

Jet parallel clamps are far and away the best on the market. I have Jorgensen cabinet master and Bessey clamps that I would gladly trade for Jet clamps. I love the trigger release, no more pinched fingers from a sliding jaw when moving clamps. The ruled bars are another plus, but the best part is the handles. I sometimes worry that I am forcing all the glue from joints with so much pressure. Still adding to my collection of Jet camps.

These are by far the best parallel clamps on the market! They are constructed of top quality materials and are a breeze to use. A real upgrade from standard clamps and even pipe clamps. Jet has a winner on this one!

My opinion is that these are the best clamps on the market. I have several Bessey clamps and like them, but the Jet clamps are better. The working surfaces with their large faces are nice, parallel, and flat. The large, padded handle allows you to easily crank in as much pressure as you want.
One of my favorite things is the trigger release. It allows you quick and easy setup, but you don't have to worry about the free jaw sliding down the bar and slamming into you hand when you hold the clamp up vertically. No matter how many times I make the mental note not to hold the Bessey clamp upright with my hand between the jaws, it seems I find a way to forget and get knocked.
I've only got a couple of sets of the Jet clamps, but they won't be the last.

I just bought 3 of these kits at the Woodworking show in Atlanta in January, and wish I had purchased 3 more. [] These clamps are far better than the Besseys or others. [] You can't go wrong with these clamps. They will last a lifetime.

These are the best bar clamps I have used. When compared to Bessey, these have features that make them much more precise. The manual lock separate from the crank mechanism is a great feature. I also think the tightening mechanism is stronger than the Bessey. I also use them on my workbench, and the included bench dogs are a nice touch. I highly recommend these clamps.

I bought one of the Jet 50" clamps to compare to my Besseys. I like the clamping mechanism and handle better than the Bessey, but, like another reviewer's, the pads were concave and the edges significantly marr the wood. I flattened the pads as best I could with a chisel and sandpaper, but they still leave a mark along the edges more readily than my Besseys. It's enough of an issue to keep me from buying another one just yet.

These clamps have some great features, but one negative. The faces on the clamps I received were slightly concave. That is, the outside edges of the faces were slightly higher than the rest of the face. This causes indentations to be left in the edge of the work when the clamps are tightened. Sanding them flat seems to help. Other than that I would recommend them.
