The sliding main panel and the locking drop-off support panel are each trimmed with one simple cut during assembly for a perfect fit on YOUR table saw. Bit the bullet and got one of these things...WOW. Very high quality engineering/construction-Made in the USA...What a coincidence. Puts anything else I've seen to shame. You'll pay a premium up front, but the accuracy of this thing will save you a ton of time and frustration.

This has upgraded my Hitachi table saw's critical crosscut and miter capability beyond all expectations. This is the solution for the saw's major shortcoming - which is that there no zero clearance insert available anywhere. The quality of design and materials are 1st class. This is our 1st Incra product and it will be the last.

I've always wondered if a miter sled would really improve my cuts on the table saw. After finally breaking down and buying one, I don't know how I did without it before. I already owned an Incra 1000SE which was perfect for the sled. The miters are perfect and it's really nice to not have to hold the work piece with my hands while making the cut. The hold down is really convenient as well. The sled extended my miter gauge reach quite a bit and it's great for crosscuts as well. It installs and removes quickly which is convenient when you need to use your fence for ripping. Incra makes good quality products and this is no exception.

Everyone rates the Miter Express highly, as do I. One flaw is in the mounting of the sliding part of the sled to the miter groove of the saw table. The Miter Express expansion system, which reduces play in the miter slot consists of tiny hex screws which pull expansion plates beneath upward so that the track distorts and presses against the sides of the miter groove. The screws are extremely sensitive, and ultimately difficult to adjust. The hex screws are tiny. I had to fiddle with adjustment on and off for about 4 days before about 90% of the play was gone. I cannot remove all of the play along the entire length of the track.
There is no means to remove the miter gauge from a fence and return it to the same exact position. I remedied this with Stanley's small, straight brackets, abutted tightly to the angled sides of the miter gauge push plate.
I still rate the sled high. It is far more accurate than anything I could have built myself.

Had to do some cutting and trimming to get the miter retainers to fit in the slots on my table saw. Some shims or some sort of a range of adjustment would really help. For the price I am not impressed this thing should have been flawless. The glide strips I saw in the instruction guide were not in the package. The little knobs for the angle bracket are so big they hit it when you try to tighten them down. It does work pretty good but I will ditch the stock panels for some bigger ones when I have time. I don't recomend it for this price.

This in combination with the Incra 1000SE miter gauge works great. I have used this for making segmented bowls with great results. The 22 1/2 degree cuts come out perfect every time and my fingers stay away from the blade!
The hold down clamp works well for my disabled Father. This unit alows him to cut perfect miters safely for his picture frames with the use of one hand.
