All in all I find this to be a good and mostly sturdy mobile base. I would have given it 5 stars except for a few what I would consider flaws in the manual. It suggests to measure 1" beyond the feet of your tool base. I did and it was off by 2"! at least in my estimation for a good fit. I have a 12" Bridgewood table saw. Since it was a wrestling match to get it under the table saw initially, I decided to change the dimensions while it was under the saw. It can be done. The only other thing I would change is the floor stops when you drop from the wheels. They have the wiggles and I like my saw completely secured. I'll change them to a hard rubber rather than soft. It's a good piece and better than most I have seen outside of dedicated bases by Delta or Jet. You won't go wrong at this price.

This is a fantastic mobile base. I use it for my 14" bandsaw and at first I was hesitant to purchase it because I was wary of the plastic lever that is used to make the base mobile. Not to worry. The step on levers are made from very durable plastic and will last for many years to come. I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I didn't think the instructions were too bad. Overall, a great mobile base.

Ordered this for my wife's joiner. The joiner's base is smallish, ~14X16", but the base was plenty adjustable and went together easy, despite the vague manual.

I have a small garage with many woodworking tools on casters. I also do bicycle repair and have a Park Tool repair stand mounted on a 300 pound metal plate. I wanted to have the mobility with this stand as I do with the rest of my tools, so I bought this universal base and it works great!

I am getting rid of the two of these I purchased, not because they are not workable, but because in a small shop, they simply eat up too much space in a small shop. Consider your space carefully before buying these. They are OK, but there are other options.

I needed a mobile base for my Ridgid thickness planner and looked at the HTC 2000 base but was concerned because the specs said the max rectangle was 20” X 54”. I also talked to the sales rep at my local Rockler and was told the same thing. Problem was that I needed a base that would accommodate the odd angled base legs on the planner which is 23” X 31”. After looking it over at the store the specs didn’t seem to coincide with the design so I figured I would give it a shot. Turns out I am glad I did, I was able to reconfigure the basic assembly to meet my needs with no problem and was able to fit the base to my planner stand very easily. Now I can move the planner around to work where I need it. So far I have not noticed an problems with it and am going to add a wood platform to it first chance I get. I would recommend the HTC 2000, it is easy to assemble and much more versatile than the specs indicate.

I had been lugging my table saw around by hand for several years, but with the recent completion of a small workshop space, needed a means to easily get to and then store my saw when not in use. This unit looked like it might do the trick. It arrived just a couple of days after ordering and I immediately took to assembling it. The instructions leave something to be desired for the less mechanically minded, but assembly was intuitive enough and went together easily. Bottom line, it is low profile, works great, and makes me kick myself for not investing in it a lot sooner. I would highly recommend this for anyone with a bulky tool that they want to be able to move around.

"Every time I have been in a Rockler store around the country I have left feeling that I received wonderful service and most always had exactly what I needed in stock at a fair to great price. the only complaint, if it can be called that, is that I have to drive over 45 minutes to reach the nearest Rockler store. My wife probably appreciates that distance, as I am certain that if one was as close as I wished it to be, we would have very little left in our checkbook!"
