This is the second HTC 3000 mobile base that I've purchased. They're strong, versatile, and the locking levers work well. Make sure you understand which way to orient or place the curved locking shim that is installed for the wheels. It's easy to place it upside down in the wheel brackets, then once you installed the handle/lever above it and try to lock the wheel, you'll find out that you have to remove all the parts and flip the thin steel shim around. The only real complaint I have is that HTC doesn't offer this mobile base with 4 swivel casters as an option. I need that option with my small shop space much more often than the common 2 fixed, 2 swivel caster set-up that is offered on so many mobile bases.

I used this base for my MiniMax S45 Band Saw. It greatly enhanced my ability to make use of this tool. It was well worth my investment. I liked this product so well that I have purchased HTC 2000 units for my other woodworking tools.

Installed under a Delta JT360 6" Jointer weighing 210 lbs. The directions were not totally clear on assembly which resulted in a little frustration and figuring out. I am doubtful that the plastic lift levers on the swivel caster end are all that durable (even for my 210 lbs. tool). Not wanting to take any chances, I am lifting the one end of the jointer with my hands while stepping on the levers. Even though this mobile base is rated to 700 lbs., I would be hesitant to rely on it for anything over 300 lbs. at least as far as the lift levers are concerned. Regardless of these issues, I was satisfied enough with the performance of this mobile base that I ordered another one for my 200 lbs. band saw.

Assembled the base around my 1954 Unisaw. Easily adjusted to the correct size. Moves smoothly, and locks down well. Overall, pleased with the product so far.

Easily able to make a 52 x 25 Craftsman workbench mobile. Little effort to move it around shop. Well worth the expense.
