Great addition for my drill press. Will save, or at least delay, buying a separate spindle sander. Great deal, especially at the 50% sale price and free 2-day shipping!

I was a little disappointed with the product at first in that it looked flimsy but once I used the sanding drum it proved itself sturdy and it did the job better than expected. Great product and great addition to my workshop.

This is an excellent set! In a drill press it frees the hands for more delicate work. The number of sleeves should be adequate for quite awhile.

I am very pleased with the product all around. It is provided in a nice storage case, for organizational purposes. I am also very pleased with the number of initial sanding sleeves that came with the kit.

I was especially pleased with this product when used in combination with the Microplane Rotory Shaper in my drill press. The products allowed for precision shaping and sanding for a variety of radii. I found the price to be reasonable in light of the many uses I will find for it. When used in a drill press both hands are free to guide the piece you are working on.

I don't have room for all of the tools I would like to have and a variety of sanders has always been on my list. The rubber sanding drum set allows me to use the drill press I already have and it did an awesome job on the first project I used it on. Well worth the money.

As far as sanding goes, they work great. As for quality, not so good. I got to use the large drum once. When I tried to change the sanding jacket, the nut was seized to the shaft. Needless to say, the shaft sheared before I was able to get the nut loose. I will try the next size down and see if this same problem occurs again.

I started making signs with the router sign making kit and needed a drum sanding set to do the contours. I started using it the first day it arrived and am very happy with it. It is a great kit to use if you do not want to spend the money on a oscillating spindle sander.

It's not the same as having your own personal occilating spindle sander, but these little drums--the largest is only 1.5" tall--work find in a drill or drill press. Maybe a little over priced for what it is, but a great tool snatch up on sale.

Imported set. After 3-4 uses of the 1-1/2" drum, the nut seized to the shaft. Could not loosen without damaging shank. Plated, mild steel shanks with loose fitting nuts and larger diameters are prone to this damage because they need to have pretty good torque to compress the rubber to keep sleeves from sliding. May help to lubricate threads before using your set. Now searching for better quality. Otherwise, works great while shanks last.

I used the 2 1/2 inch drum for about two hours sanding a project. The drum performed flawlessly until time came to change the sanding paper. The squash nut, which had been hand tightened as far as I could tighten it then snugged with a wrench, was either cross threaded or filled with sawdust. No amount of lubrication or blown air could make it come loose and I ended up cutting the stud off and replacing it with a bolt. I am pleased with the way the tool does it's job, but very unhappy with the quality and ease of use of the tool. Also, there were no instructions included with the kit. It's a pretty self explanatory tool, but any tool should have basic instructions included. This tool got a fair rating only because as far as sanding goes, it works great. Tool quality is very poor. I'm disappointed that I paid $ for this tool only to have to modify it after the first use.

Nothing is labeled in the case. Case is very flimsy.
Very hard to sand anything but pine. Oak is just too tough!

They work great and add versatility to my drill press. My projects are looking better now that I'm not hand sanding inside radii. That was always a tedious. I read reviews about the nut seizing, so as a preventative I added a dab of NeverSeez from the gitgo. No problems.

Purchased this set from in store, after the first use the chrome plating on the shaft started peeling and the nut would not come loose no matter what I used. You will be far better off buying the individual sizes as needed, they were black oxide and have had no issues with the threads.
