I use my drum sander on my drill press for many shaping tasks. Difficult to find replacement sleeves in my local stores so Rockler product is a life saver.

I needed to enlarge some holes in several doors to accomodate new door locks which were larger than the original holes. This drum sander kit saved the day for me. There was no other way to do this project unless I wanted to file the hole larger by hand with a round file which would have taken all day for 1 door and it would not have come out as nice. Greater product for where you need to sand round holes or curves.

Saw a similar item used on a woodworking show. Installed it into my drill press. It works very well for thinner stock, however anything over 1.5" the drum is not tall enough for. Wish it was just a little taller. Other then that it works great.

I only ordered the 1.5" x 1.5" with 1/4' shank. It was not concentric and difficult to use.
