I replaced the old metal spring loaded latches in my large kitchen without any problems. The latches work fine and the screws were of excellent quality. Any screw breakage as reported in another review must have been in a wood like hickory without any lubrication!

I would revise my prior review to read " Very fragile construction". Three of 15 installed in my kitchen have failed in six months.
"I just finished some bookcases using my new rockler pipe clamps. With the high lift and the great price,these clamps are a deal!!! I build full time, and if i need it Rockler sells it. Great job guys!! " -
