I bought the double-wide Low Profile Magnetic Catch (26542) to solve a problem. I built two pie-cut corner cabinets with bi-fold doors (76" and 30" high). The outer door (of each cabinet) is able to torque the inner door about an 1/8" at the top corner where the two doors meet, pulling the inner door from the face frame, and ruining the reveal line of the outer door. I used the catch to hold the inner door to the face frame. For this purpose it does its job well.
My objection to this catch is that the strike plate uses round head screws rather than counter-sunk flush-mounted screws. These screws result in the strike plates being higher than necessary in order to provide clearance for the screw heads to not interfere with the catch proper. While this set-up may make marking the pilot holes easier, you must also ensure that you have the strike plate low enough to allow clearance from the catch.
Five dollars seems a bit spendy for the quality of this latch, but as it is complete with screws, you can grab the package and avoid the search for the 'missing' hardware.
