The slides themselves are fine, but the instructions leave much to be desired. Working with the tolerances involved in the depths of cabinets is difficult at best. I wanted to install two drawers in a kitchen base cabinet. The amount of space and workable light were a problem, so I made a jig or template to locate the four rear sockets. I cut a piece of 1/4" x 4" plywood to the height of the inner cabinet and held it against the inside of the face frame stile and traced a line on the jig along the left stile edge. My frame rail was also elevated slightly above the cabinet floor, so I traced a horizontal line at its level on the jig. I repeated the process for the right stile on the right side of the jig. Then I drew vertical lines parallel to the stile reference lines at 5/8" from them. These lines appear in the left {or right for the right slide} holes of properly placed sockets. Since the bottom of the socket is at the same level as the bottom of the slide where it is attached to the stile, marking the jig at that height above rail line makes accurate vertical placement of the socket possible. Pilot holes can be marked and drilled using the socket as a jig.
