Although I have not used the product yet the wheels lokk like they will do the job. I am excited to use products from the Rockler line up as they are always of such good quality.

Well made wheels that matched the maple boom and mast of the toy cranes that I made for my 2 4-year old nephew in Pennsylvania and Bolivia. The color of the wheels contrasted well with the walnut base. I could have never made wheels that good in the little I gave myself to make these cranes.

The wheels were not really 2&1/2 inches but slightly larger. About 2&5/16. I believe that this is probably due to the metric dimensions. It would have been better for me to know that up front. It turned out the truck I used them on could be adapted to accomodate the unexpected size.

These wheels look good and fit well* on my 3/8" oak dowel axles I make myself. I've both the sngle tire and the "dualies". *compared to the maple wheels I have used which have a very tight fit on 3/8" dowel axle - see my review on those wheels.

I used the 2-1/2 inch wheels to make a car and two trucks for my grandson Jake.
